I love Madden - best highlights so far?

Got it and had time for one game... so of course I played the cowboys. And I stomped them! Two 40+ yard runs for TD's by portis, Fletcher and Washington banging up Jones and Barber, ST just annihlating people (I hit sticked Romo on the last play of the game with Taylor in front of my roomate who's a boys fan... I think he cringed haha)... and then there's LL who is just wicked. I got a crucial sack with him, and then he picked off Romo in the endzone and returned it 102 yards for the TD. I won 35-0.

This was on Pro of course. I'm going to All-Pro tonight. Anyone else have any good stories from Madden yet?

There is a HUGE difference from pro to all pro. I kill on pro and throw about 5 picks a game on All Pro. I used to crush all pro with no problem on 07, but it just seems I can't find my guys open on this one.

I can tell you that Throwing the ball on All Pro is rediculously hard! I can't believe it. The Protection for the redskins sucks. They really don't give you all that much time to throw. They say in the manual that you can have slide protections for the line, but I have tried and not been able to find them. Has anyone been able to find slide protections for the 360? PM and let me if you know how to do this function.

Superstar mode is so rediculously fun. Especially at WR. Plus, now you don't have to go through all that crap of running a 40 and bench pressing just to create a player.

I started my dynasty on All-Pro and I'm just getting stomped. I lost to the titans, beat the steelers and then got my butt handed to me by the Ravens in the preseason. It's ridiculous. Moss is non-existent because I can't throw the ball deep to him. I also can't seem to hold onto the ball with Campbell or Portis.

Much more challenging this year. You really, really have to work to create the mismatches.

I am playing on Pro right now and I cannot run worth a darn. I average like 50 yards and 1 fumble a game with Portis. I must suck! I can throw all over the field though. If I make it harder, I will never ever score a point.

I cannot figure out how to slide the line either (PS3). I had to have someone else tell me what "sprint" button was. They need to put all of the controls in the book.

On the Wii, running is a lot of fun. There are crazy animations when you do power plays, etc. My favorite play so far is A.R.E. running back a punt return for a touchdown. What made it great for me is how he ducked and spinned his way through defenders. I also liked it because on the PS2, I had no PR returns in 07. Now they're possible.

I've been playing on All Pro from the start. I am 7-3 vs. the CPU. I just figured out that the lead block with Sellers is harder than last year.......he is too slow for my favorite toss play. So, I started as Portis and just followed blocking, and I have had some big gainers since. The passing game......tough. I threw 4 ints with JC in one game. Defense is unbelievable. I have had like 10 pick 6's , sacks galore, and a handful of fumble return TDs. That is my saving grace vs. All Pro AI. I basically have to play like the Skins should at this point. Pound the ball, throw when necessary, and overwhelm the O with my ferocious D. Also, smart QBs are noticeably good in this game. Brett Favre was tearing me up at one point.

i play on all madden and getting the crap beat out of me i use to kill the comp on 07 allmadden glad to see its not just me they really stepped there game up

I like that on the PS3 and possibly Wii and 360 this game, like most new EA Games, has real time sports updates so I can beat up on Mike Vick then see that Mike Vick is gonna go to jail :D

I am playing on the regular box on the all-pro level. I am currently 5-1 in the franchise mode. I have pulled out some close games and lost one very close game. Turn overs are much higher this year. Passing is very hard and I have thrown alot of picks. My last game with CP I had 120+ rushing yards and 2 tds which has been by far my best. But that was against the cardinals. I find myself getting very addicted and wanting to keep playing out the rest of the schedule. I also find myself liking the game more and more.... But I really need to buy a 360 to get the best experience.
