Pressure, pressure, pressure from both Odom and Vanderbosh. Vanderbosh was dominant tonight. He was all over Brady. Our offensive line did a much better job against the Titans when compared to the Patriots. If I am not mistaken the Patriots are supposed to have one of the better lines in the league. Our line will be just fine. The Titans a better defensive team than they are given credit for.

the point of discussion is offensive line play

Are you purposefully misspelling Kyle Vanden Bosch's name?

In any case, the Titans D is trying to play like it's a playoff run in the regular season because they have lost so many key components on offense, that if their defense doesn't come to play this season they might get shut up every game.

In his first 14 passes Brady was 6 of 14 for 90 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs.

Ouch, I didn't see that he threw two picks.

Both time Brady got hit hard and was slow getting up. Sorta like Collins after he took a lickin' from LL.

Don't worry, Campbell will produce points in the preseason far more often after being in the league for 7 years, especially if Gibbs remains his coach the entire 7 years.

That Titans pass rush forced a pick 6 and forced another fumble. They had their ears pinned back.

Yeah but him and his 66 QB rating are on the cover of Madden this year, lol.

BTW, Joey Harrington had a higher QB rating last year and Rex Grossman was almost 10 points higher. Hell, Eli Manning and David Carr were MORE than 10 points higher. All busts while Young is a few more seasons like 2006 from the HOF, lol.

Titan D was strong last year, especially that line. One of the better ones in the league,IMO.

I didn't see the game, but reading the recap and some of the play-by-play--Brady threw two interceptions that were caused by hits on him. It didn't seem like the Patriots could run the ball in the first half (I think they had one decent run for 8 yards and not much else).

The Patriots two touchdown drives were of 23 yards and 57 yards. The touchdown drives were helped by penalties on the Titans defense.

Yeah but the Patriots first team offense also scored and their defense had 4 sacks on Vince Young.

Similar #s to Campbell except 1 more turnover and 1 more score...I'm much more comfortable with Campbell's numbers for a few reasons:

1. A fumble from Campbell is not nearly as concerning as an interception would have been - he proved last year that he can hold onto the ball, and I'm not concerned about that. Plus, a fumble always has a chance of being recovered by the offense.

2. Our receivers were dropping or not catching a lot of passes that should have been caught.

3. We didn't have our running back in the game. I'm sorry, but Clinton Portis is much more powerful than Ladell Betts. Betts did great at the end of the year there, but he looked like his old self last week. He fell down every time he was touched, which really reminds me of the rest of his tenure excluding his last 8 season games.

Are you purposely using made up words (purposefully)?

What's the point of calling someone out like that? Really...

When I started watching in the 2nd quarter, the Titans had 80 yards in penalties (which explains part of why NE had 14 points). Their defense was absolutely dominating the Pats though. It seemed like every play Odom was either pressuring Brady, or putting a hit on him (some hard hits, at that).

Cowboys fan first, Titans fan second,

The Titans never ran a blitz or stunt. Thier defensive ends were better than the patriots tackles, who got no help either.

On the other side of the coin, on one play the patriots rushed nine guys. Fisher said to a friend of mine who covers games on the sideline for a local tv station, he was surprised they keep getting to Brady only rushing four defensive linemen and they were not prepared for the patriots to blitz every play, I think thats good because its just preseason and Vince would look better if the team had prepared for blitzes. So I think its no mistake Collins looked good after half time, the Titans made adjustments at half time.

Point being its only preseason.

McNabb looked good too. Anybody here believe Carolina has no pass rush? McNabb was dropping, a good three or four count and passing. I would be surprised if teams give him that long this year.

I cant wait to see the Philly/Redskins game, Gregg will get to McNabb.

Are you kidding me? ESPN just showed highlights of Vanden Bosch running a stunt on his hit on Brady that caused one of the interceptions. I don't know what you are watching.

Their are alot of reasons to not get to worried about last weeks offensive line play and this is another good one. This van den boshhgfflfuf fella seems pretty good. Not to make any exuses for jansens play, but, being the first game of the preseason I think it was good for him to get knocked around a bit. I have complete faith in buges to have this thing start going our way, starting tonight with pittsburg. HTTR

I didn't see the game, but reading the recap and some of the play-by-play--Brady threw two interceptions that were caused by hits on him.
I saw the first INT that Brady threw...the hit didn't cause it, the ball was out of his hand right before he got hit. The pressure may have forced Brady's throw to be a bit off, however.

Also, I think that pass was to Stallworth...if so, Stallworth was a big part of the reason the INT occurred as well (or at least a big part of the reason the INT resulted in a TD). I think he thought the ball was going out of bounds because when he saw it apparently going over his head he stopped and relaxed, only to realize a second or two later that the defender a yard behind him had intercepted the ball and was now running the other way...which caused Stallworth to do a Shockey and say "Oh ****, it's an INT!" and start chasing after him lol. Had Stallworth been alert he would have at least stopped the defender right after the INT.

They probably won't admit it, but I still believe Fisher and the Titans had an axe to grind with Belichick and the Pats as a result of the final game of the season in 2006. The Pats essentially knocked the Titans out of the playoff race and to add insult to injury, inserted the ancient Vinny Testaverde in the game when it was already decided, which allowed him to break some type of touchdown passing record.

Wouldn't be surprised if Fisher treated this game unlike your typical preseason game.
