Saturday is gonna be rough for me

Gotta be up by 7:30 to make it to Gameday. This will be after downing several rails at Tots the night before

Is that not standard operating procedure?

A word of advice, nothing cures a hangover and gets you started on the next one like a Bloody Mary.

It was much easier to do my freshmen year living in Pritchard, which was a 5 minute walk from the stadium

I'll be honest, I am a guy who likes to sleep, and prefers to get my full 8 hours. I have no trouble being a trooper on gameday, done it plenty of times, but I still hate it. And to be perfectly honest, I am not that big into tailgating (blasphemy I know!) I go mostly for the food, and would rather be in the stadium watching warmups up close and getting ready to jump up and down when the team comes out

But thats just me :whoknows:

High Noon in the "OB", ready to stomp Marshall. Glad we get a cupcake opener and not FSU anymore.

Not cised i have to work and we currently do not have Direct TV service, but at least I have a DVR.

Freeman won the starting job at QB so maybe the offense will have some excitement with a mobile QB instead of statuesque Kyle Wright holding the ball in the pocket all day. Best decision Randy Shannon has made thus far and he's made some good one's is to give Nix a mobile QB to get the offense ready for Robert Marve next year.

You are the opposite of me. Our game kicks off at 3:30, so if i get to the tailgate at 7 am, that gives me a solid 8 hours of tailgating, and i can still be in my seat in plenty of time for kick.

Here is a snippet from the chain email we had planning our tailgate:

FOOD
Grill Steve
Sandwiches Erica
Cookies Erica
Pepperoni rolls Singer
Chili Jen
Hot dog buns Erica
Hot dogs Keaton
Chips/dip Nez
Hot dog condiments Erica

DRINK
Bloody Marys Steve
Bloody Mary balls Kennedy
Beer Kennedy
Plastic cups/shot glasses Keaton
Beer Keaton
Jager Keaton
Beer Singer
Beer Nez
Captain Morgan Ryan
Coke Erica
Beer Azer
Gatorade Ryan
RedBull Azer

ENTERTAINMENT
FlipCup table Steve
Stereo/music Kennedy

OTHER
Plates/forks/spoons Jen
Trash bags Singer
Chairs (2) Kennedy
Chair Singer
Cooler Ryan
Chairs Ryan

And if you look closely under the drink section, you will see both Jager and Red Bull, i think you know what that means.

The menu definitley looks damn good

I like the fact that I tailgate with some fat cat older alums who bring tons of food and make us take some secret shots before we can get started

Thats pretty sweet. I still tailgate with the same people that i did when i was IN school. Its really good seeing the old crew for the first time in 6 months, then getting hammertime, then watching the Eers stomp the hell out of some poor directional school.

High Noon in the "OB", ready to stomp Marshall.

funny side note:

a marshall fan was trying to talk smack on the wvu rivals board, saying "wvu opens w/ w. michigan, marshall opens w/ miami. what's wrong w/ this picture."

wvu fans response: "you're miami's w. michigan."

It's 6:10 AM right now and I am currently writing an english paper. Oh how I wish it was Saturday. Bong a few beers at home, then head out, drink some more at a tailgate, then enjoy the game.

Although it is a little anti climatic to be this excited about a game that will be over by the first quarter.

If you want, come by the green lot and look for the flip cup table that looks like Mountaineer Field. We'll have plenty of beer.

The pit circa mid-90's was the single greatest place to drink, get muddy, see lots of boobies, and just have fun. Sadly, it took a few serious injuries and some dumbass firing a gun to get it tamed.

Wait, your 18. You can't drink in Morgantown.

Yeah, rules for how much booze. When i was in school, i took my jeep into the Pit on every gameday. The rule was 1 keg per vehicle. If 1 keg per vehicle, plus a few bottles of hard stuff is LIMITING your tailgating, you shouldnt be allowed around people.

These days im in the green lot. We get there early so we get the parking spaces next to the huge field next to the lot so we can set up the beer pong table, corn hole boards, kegs, and just have tons of room to stretch out, throw the football, etc etc.

Yes, we get there before anyone else. Its about 6:30 am. The picture was taken walking down from the PRT. The cars on the far right are ours, the field that you cant see because of the tree on the right is about the size of 2 football fields.

That is a sweet get up. I like the grassy spot we have also, the people we tailgate with take up plenty of room where they are
