Wow, there are way too many Virginia Tech fans in this place. We've got to balance this out a little bit.
That being said, I did have some friends who went to Tech, so I'm not totally against them, just got to keep on pulling for my Nittany Lions. I'll be watching Virginia Tech with keen interet however, since a few of their players are competing with Penn State for individual awards.
Adibi and/or Hall versus Dan Connor for the Butkus and Bednarik awards.
Brandon Flowers versus Justin King for the cornerback award, whatever it's called.
This is going to be a good year for Penn State. I see predictions anywhere from them winning the Big Ten to finishing fourth. We'll see...we have a terrific defense, as always. Fast receivers, a hopefully improving QB, a 5th year RB and a new line...the offense is iffy. I don't think we'll beat Michigan, we never seem to be able to, and we'll probably split Wisconsin/Ohio State, so I'm thinking 10-2, second or third in the Big Ten. Man though, does out out of conference schedule suck. A weakened Notre Dame, and games against FIU, Buffalo and Temple. Three of the ESPN bottom 10 teams, talk about padding.
Dan Connor - Best linebacker in the nation. Justin King - Best Cornerback in the nation.
