Haven't posted an update on the youth football team in a while.


Kids played the other undefeated team yesterday and won 21-0. So far they have scored 180 points in 6 games and only allowed 6... the defense is pretty good.

Charles Mann came and spoke to the kids and they were also on the channel 7 news the day of the Monday night game against the Eagles (we had played the Eagles two days earlier and they showed clips from the game saying it might be an omen).

Wow... that's quite an accomplishment coach. As I said, I'm jealous of coaches that can get their weaker players in the endzone... and I don't know HOW I hear of defenses only allowing a touchdown or 2 for an entire season. That's just insane to me.

I DO take some consolation after our team's victory today.... I ran into one of our refs from our game earlier in the morning in the parking lot getting packed up at the end of the day. We wished me and our team well... and said he was VERY impressed with our football team. He said he's refereed into 2 major cities (Ottawa/Toronto) and that our play today was some of the best "Tyke" football he's ever seen :)
