The Bucs are looking much better this season
they are quietly going to 3-1 and completely being ignored by the media

yeah I'm seeing that too. Garcia looks like he has that offense straight. The defense is playing hard I hope its only a spoof thou.

Well, that game over St. Louis is really looking like a gimme right now...but, yeah, they're probably playing as well as the pukes right now.

they do look good. I never saw the beginning of that game - why was Carr playing QB instead of Jake?

when u play teams like NO, carolina and the rams. U should have 3 wins. They lost to their only real competitor Seattle

I predict a Gruden versus Garcia meltdown before the end of the season.
Those two cannot see eye to eye on how to run the offense.

:shhh: Poke fans say the teams you play doesn't matter
but you are true, I am not saying they are great, just that they are looking much improved over last season (where they would have lost most of these games)

Delhomme hurt his elbow last week and didn't practice this past week

Not to disagree, but what exactly do you mean? Admittedly I haven't seen much of the Bucs this year, but what would Gruden have to complain about?

The Bucs are doing well with what they have. Garcia is simply a fine QB who doesn't get much credit.
Unfortunately, after today they have quite a bit less, losing Williams and Pettigout.
I imagine they will come back to Earth once their schedule toughens up. Looking at this sorry division, they could pull that off, but they would likely be nothing but another team's tune-up in the playoffs.

Another thing is with Clayton starting opposite Galloway if Galloway was shut down the whole passing game was done with. This year Ike has showed that he is better than Clayton and can get it done.

The Bucs have been very impressive thus far. I must say that I'm surprised.

There have been published reports of both Gruden and Garcia having minor spats at each other because Garcia has been calling some of his own plays and over riding what calls Gruden sends in, as he acts as the OC as well.
Mind you, winning over rides any cases of the redass that might occur, but TB isnt the most talented team and Cadillac Williams went down with an injury today.

What about the redskins? Nobody talks about them but we are a really good team.

I'd like to see us score 20 points in a game before I deem us a good team.

Close games are what defines a good team not the blowouts.
When you win in a blowout, you arent used to a close game when you get into them.
CLose games exp=great in playoffs.

I knew the Eagles would regret letting Garcia go.
Now think, we signed Brunell for over 40M when Garcia was available for no draft picks and signed with Cleveland for much much less, right?

Yep-just Garcia's presence along makes everyone around him play alot better.
I can see him become an HC someday.

so you define a good team by keeping it close and squeeking out a win, as opposed to demolishing your opponent? riiiiight

Bucs do look good. Amazing how a QB that just knows how to protect the football and doesn't try and do too much can make a difference. Losing Cadillac (for the season I believe) will hurt them, IMO.
If I had to rate the top NFC teams right now, I'd go with:
1) *wince* Dallas
2) Seattle
*
*
*
3) Green Bay
4) Bucs
*
*
*
15) Eagles
16) Lions

Only thing winning close games helps is when you get in situations where you are losing and have to come from behind. Teams/leaders/coaches might need the experience on the sideline and in the huddle of managing a 2-minute drive and playing in a tight situation. Kind of like full-speed practice of the two minute drill.
Personally, I like being on the good side of blowouts. Forget close games. Only time the Eagles have went to the Super Bowl recently was the year they won most of their games by a lot.

The best teams no one is talking about are the Bucs, Seattle and the Redkins. Thos injuries could really really hurt the Bucs offense in the future. I'd imagine Petitgout has been Garcia's best friend.
And how about the 3-1 ....................Lions?:yikes:

I thought I heard Luke and Cadillac were done for the season. You see what happens when you're starting LT is out (Osi vs. Winston). :)

Sagarin's system has their schedule difficulty at 30th in the league. They also have only played a top 16 team once, and they lost. Nevertheless, Sagarin's system has them at 10th.

Good point. They'll probably win the division again because its so weak. that should be an easy 4-6 wins right there. If they can muster up 4 wins againt Non-Division opponents, they'll be fine.

The Rams and the Dolphins are the worst....and hey how about Oakland being tied for the best record in the AFC west! That division has lost ALL credibility....

The combo of Graham/Pittman should spell Cadillac's loss decently, and as long as give that backup LT help, they should be OK.
I see this team getting 11 wins, IMHO.
