If you ask me, we are kinda in the same position Philly was in last week. They came of a horrendous loss to us and were getting lots of criticism from fans and the media for their performance. Im not sure what they did, but they came out the next week and straight devestated the lions. Put up 56 points and had a field day.

Here we are week 5, coming off a bad loss to the giants, the team is taking criticism from almost everyone on the board (including me), and the fans aren't too happy.

I think we need to play charades with philly. Lets go out there Sunday and put up 56 or more points. Lets let the offense explode (even if it means playing b.lloyd).


I know they're are plenty of other threads about how the we need to beat the lions, but this coincidence sorta just came to my mind and I thought i'd share it with you guys.

One of the things that's gotten me through this past week is the thought of Philly fan, this coming off season, wanting to relive the one shining moment his club gave him this year, and having to look at those nasty-ass threads on tape.

It's a conundrum.

This team doesn't seem to respond with games like that. Due to overcoaching, personalities, whatever, they lack emotion on the field, or at least are unable to translate it into production.

I think Detroit is the one looking more fired up for this game.

Man. I love the Skins and have been a fa since 1972 as a kid, bbut I tell ya I am not sure we can beat anyone who doesnt beat themselves. We play with no heart, no drive, no desire to win.


I mean look at the Giants game, up by a coupple scores against a pretty fair offence at the half and our game plan is to run out the clock; for two halves. What was that all about. How many timjes can you run left, Even the refs moved to that side on the snap. C'mon we have the talent, we have the coaches, now we need heart. Let Campbell and the boys play. 4tds even with 2int is a good day.

:laugh: :laugh: Good point... BUT they looked like the 05 Eagles against the Lions. How do teams look so good one week and so bad the next? I know they were with out Westbrook against NY but I thought Buckhalter actually did decent job filling in. I don't get it... Any given Sunday I guess.

Lets hope that the coaching staff and players all do a better job this week on both sides of the ball.

Portis will probably play, said so in a radio interview. But since Moss is hurting bad enough for us to sign Keenan McCardell, we might actually see Brandon Lloyd catch a pass on Sunday.
