I was looking through my mail this afternoon and saw I got a letter from my University. I open it up and I have been invited to see Gov. Martin O'Malley speak on Wednesday afternoon about the Maryland economy.

This is going to sound really bad, but I am as excited about this as I am when the 'Skins play.

And proud. On election night I get a case of beer and watch results come in with my political science friends.

FYI, alot of good drinking games can be played on election night. Just never play during a landslide election.

I give Ron Paul points for being consistent throughout the years. However, I take those points away from him for being consistently wrong throughout the years. I am not a fan of any of his policies.

I'm actually not sure, I think it's invitation only, but its being held in The Great Hall, which is where they have all the big speakers at the University.

Grads on getting to see something you are excited about. I wish more people like you were interested in politics, maybe then we wouldn't get an ignoramus running the country. . . well let me rephrase that, an ignoramus as a figure head (we all know Cheney runs the country :p)

Unlike Dubya who would remove all services from your state, send your children to get revenge for his father, bankrupt our country and give the keys to to government along with their purse strings to big business. . .in the face of that I'll take higher taxes any day.
