Green Bay plays at home against the reeling Bears.

Though they're division rivals and weird things can happen, I see GB winning handily...

This is why GB (and other big passing teams) should fear the Skins:

Coming in with the No. 1 passing offense in the NFL, Detroit tallied just 76 net yards passing, and Kitna threw two interceptions.

If they lose to Chicago however, I see them winning next week.

Chris Collinsworth just said the season should end today and there should be a baseball playoff format to determine a Super Bowl between New England vs. Indianapolis in the AFC and Dallas vs. Green Bay in the NFC. Watch him make a comment about the season being a four quarter battle later in the telecast.

That's one more talking head to ignore. Are there any left?

Don't agree. Bears are going nowhere. Better they start chipping into the 4-0 lead Green Bay has on us. That way when we win next week we jump them.

Only way that would matter is if we were trying to either battle it out for a wildcard, or home field advantage if we win the division. If we win, then we get the tie breaker. All we'd have to do is keep pace.

Eh, not that odd really. If the Packers win, they'll be more likely to overlook the Skins and get over-confident. Other then Farve and a few others, they're a young team. However, a loss will make them more focused and determined.

So, that said, go Pack. Win this week so we can kick your ass next week. :silly:

I like Madden because I associate his voice along with Pat Summeral with a lot of my best Redskins memories. I learned football from listening to those two. Madden used to get more in depth with his stuff. I mean he was the one that came out with the telestrator and starting drawing out the replays. He also told a lot of anecdotes from when he was coaching the Raiders. He gave you an insider's perspetive from inside the coaches and players heads. For all that he gets a free pass from me. I don't care how much he rambles on or states the obvious. I believe he's been told to keep it simple anyway, so the game might be easier to understand for the casual fan.

I'd consider the NFC North's rivalries to be right up there with the NFC East. Pretty much any game within the division is a rivalry.

Those teams just have too much history with each other.long rivalries are better then the damn expansion ones.

If you haven't figured it out yet, the Bears suck, it's that old SB loser curse. Who else have the Packers played? This is still a pretty close game so I wouldn't call it yet althought I picked GB. (and I was 11-0 last time I checked today, missed one or two 4PM games but Ill get back to you) However, I firmly beleive we can beat these guys. 341 yards and only 17 points? The only defensive stat that matters in the end is points allowed.

That last play.. the ball was up for grabs. Driver (i think it was) had his hands on the ball just the same as the Bears defender did. I always thought that a tie in the catch goes to the WR?

Also, Pack lost a TO on a challenge that they won.
