Well ladies and gentlemen, there you have you. Twice in a three game stretch the team has a lead and cannot hold it. The coaching, the offense, the defense, special teams, playcalling, etc.... We're obviously going to disect it all over the next couple days, so I'm not going to talk about all of that. There will be plenty of threads to do that in.

Instead I want to talk about what the FRANCHISE should do right now. I have a philosophy that goes something like this....

"IF YOU CAN'T WIN, DON'T PLAY"

I think this franchise needs to buy into that philosophy. There is really only one game I have ANY belief that we can win as I look at the rest of the schedule. Thankfully it's next week against the Arizona Cardinals. I would suggest that the team should play that game and then FORFEIT the rest of the season. Literally. Inform the NFL that we will not be showing up to play those games and that the opponents should be credited with the wins.

At that point I believe that this team should also fire everyone below Dan Snyder and that he should put the team up for sale at the same price he paid for it... first come first served. No bids. Just an outright sale of the team.

If the league has an issue with either of these ideas, I believe the franchise should be folded. There's obviously nothing of any value to the franchise anymore except the stadium. It's not like this team is going to win anything in the near future. It's not like these players have any value either, as I think we're seeing on a weekly basis.

It is my supposition that if this team is EVER going to be anything even remotely close to successful again, there needs to be a complete and total overhaul from the top down. The only reasonable way to do that, so far as I can see it to either close the franchise and start again from scratch, or for the entire front office, ownership group, and the VAST MAJORITY of the players (probably 45 of the 53) to be cut loose. Obviously that won't be easy, but it's the only way I see to truly turn this thing around.
