Just for laughs, If playoffs were to start today we would be in as a Wild Card.

Looks like the big games for us (must wins) are going to be against Tampa, Chicago and the Giants. I feel that these three will be our big rivals for a Wild Card this year. We already have the tiebreaker over Detroit and Arizona.

I know it's early but this is the Playoff Scenario as I see it unfolding around the midseason point. Forget about catching Dallas - let's take a deep breath and start figuring out who to root against for the long haul. If we are anywhere near healthy by the end of the year, we can go toe-to-toe with ANYONE in the NFC.

I think the Skins need to be 6-3 when we head into Dallas. It'll be interesting to see if that's possible with the current condition of our offensive line.

I'm not sure Dallas will win the NFCE. The Giants look really good right now and look like they can press Dallas for the division title. Right now, I think it will come down to Detroit (who we will have tie-breaker against) or Carolina/Tampa (whoever finishes second there) with us for the final playoff spot. I don't think Detroit will have a better record than us, so we will at least win the kicker against them. So that game in Tampa Bay may decide who gets the last playoff spot.

Why the hell should I "forget about catching Dallas?"

We beat them last year with Brunell and our sorry ass defense.

They're def. on the right path to win the NFCE, but I think I'll watch the rest of the season play out before I concede them their crown.

We are by no means out of the division picture.

We are not out of the picture. We have to play one game at a time. Besides, there are funny things that happen in the NFL. We shoudl be able to get into the playoffs. I am just disappointed that the two games we lost, we should have won and that would have given us an edge right now. We could have been 6-0, but we blew it against the packers, which means we might be playing there again in even colder weather. We blew it against the giants which may have cost us the division.

Tampa isn't really competition because they are winning their division. Maybe Brees goes on a long win streak now but they are a 8-8 team. We will end up competing with Detroit in the end for that final playoff spot.

It looks like a 10-6 or 11-5 season. But, we'll still be a wild-card team. Giants and Cowboys have it easy.

I agree with others that beating dallas at least once would make things very interesting.

Unfortunately, Dallas is a lot better than last year. The TO addition is paying dividends, and Marion Barber is scary.

I'm not going to say that we can't beat the Cowturds. But I will say that we will NOT sweep them. I think both of those games will be hard fought and an earned win by either team.

The most frustrating thing about the Giants, is that it is the Redskins who gave them a heartbeat. We had them beat, and we gagged like a pornstar at John Holmes' house. At 0-3 the Giants would have quit on Coughlin and called it a year. But, remember, their other wins are against the Eagles, Jets. 49ers, Falcons... teams who have combined for 6 wins. I think they may repeat last season and go 6-2/2-6 and finish 8-8. We are capable of beating the Cowboys out for the division. I reallly feel Romo's reckless style is suddenly leading to turnovers and that they will lose a few big ones down the stretch. I think 11-5 wins the division, but given how we insist on making every game interesting, I don't see how any of us can confidently sitback and predict 11 wins. The two losses that should have been wins, loom large in any tiebreakers. It is hard watching a God turn mortal in front of your very eyes folks, but this team will be a better team once Joe Gibbs takes some consultant job upstairs and turns the headset over to a coach who STILL understands you can't sit on 2-score leads in this league. Save all the BS about injuries... the old Gibbs, and by that I mean the younger one, had a killer instinct that this one lacks. Unless Joe pops a Viagara, we will suffer at least two or three more would've, could've. should've games this year. Look what Bellichek had to say in response to still passing, up 42-21... compare it to Gibbs after a win like yesterday.

It just may come down to the last game of the season against Dallas.

Packers will win their division. I just don't think the Bears will be better than 8-8 right now.

Last 3-4 games will be very interesting. The Giants play the Patriots the last week of the season which is most likely an easy W for the Giants because most likely the Patriots would have already clinched their division and sat Brady. But every NFCE team plays another NFCE team atleast once in the last 4 game stretch. Could be alot of decisive wins to determines who goes and who stays
