View Full Version : Thank you Mangini

With his untimely disclosure of cheating by the Patriots, Mangini has forced the Patriots and Brady, in particular, to PROVE that their prior success shouldn't be tainted by video shenanigans.
Mangini had an entire off-season to disclose the wrong-doing...he could have chosen to release the information in a less public way...and let the NFL investigate. But no. He chose to try to humiliate the Patriots in the most public of ways.
And now, they play with an abandon and confidence not seen in recent years...bolstered by the best receivers Brady has ever had.
Thanks again, Mr. Mangini.

And to add insult to injury, the friggen Pats are 16.5 favorites this weekend.

Riggo, I'm hoping. I hope that offense I seen yesterday at the stadium doesn't show up at Foxboro Sunday. I'll be down in Jamacia this weekend, so I'll DVR it.

I am hoping the Patriots completely s- the bed, but while I think our defense is every bit as good as the Pats, our offense is in shambles. If we were compeltely healthy, I'd say we would have a shot, but with 5 offensive linement hurt, the chances are slim-to-none.

That's a lot of points. If Rabach plays, the Pats won't cover.

I am in a dilemma. I have taken the Pats and the points in every game this year. I am planning on going to Europe based on this run since they are 6-0-1 against the spread.
Now what do I do?
Europe?
Skins?
Europe?
Skins?

These are exceptional circumstances.
But...
Gawd, I don't know. I don't like betting against my own team.

But for Mangini, I'm pretty sure the Pats would be 3-4 right now. Thanks indeed!

The Pats would have been great anyway. Why is this a surprise? They went 12-4 last year, should have made(won?)the Super Bowl, and they upgraded their team considerably.

I don't think I can do it. But, intentionally ending a streak goes against every gambling instinict I have.

So, you're telling me Brady and and company aren't trying to put an exclamation point on every win?
I can only suppose this is the year they'd like to run the table...for obvious reasons.

wouldn't it be funny if they go 16-0 and lose in the first playoff game after the home playoff game :D

The Redskins are going to beat the Patriots. You heard it here. I don't have any idea how but I just have that feeling, a feeling I haven't had in a long time and its never failed me before. Or it could be indigestion.
