Biggest news I thought was he more or less said the offense comes out pumped when the game starts but coming out after halftime they don't play with the same emotion -- he used the word "oomph"

We need oomph.

How much does that cost on the open market?

How much does that cost on the open market?

Depends on whether you buy it as a spray or a gel.

Tell danny to fire up redskins one and go out and get some free agency quickly.

How much does that cost on the open market?

And, more importantly, does it count against the cap?

I know it's obvious, but I like how Clinton and the offense feel like they're letting the defense down. The offense knows how great our D has become and they expect them to dominate, as should the offense.

The only "oomph" we can get is some "oomph" that is on someone's practice squad. Is the any arena league "oomph" available?

Good to know the offense feels like they let the defense down. I don't understand how our offense is not potent with the mass amount of talent we have. Hopefully this week will light a fire under their butts and they will come out of NE with a win.

this might sound crazy, and we certainly shouldn't do this on purpose, but do you think we would play better if we had a bad first half? not so bad that the game is out of reach, but if the score is tied or we are down by a TD or less. then we would come out after the half wit a sense of urgency. to be honest i don't wanna find out, i'd like to keep goin in the half wit 14 point leads.

You know listening to portis. I'm seeing the team understanding that they know the team is good but they're not capitalizing on the half-time leads. I wouldn't be surprised that the skins become a top 10 offense by the end of the season.

We just not doing everything that we capable of, but I don’t feel like we far away you know when we go back and watch film coach shows us every time coach starting to show us a finger tip away from making a game winning catch, you know a push away from having this ball being on time, a push away from that ball not being intercepted, a block away from this being a big play so once you go back and look at it on film, everything we doing is actually what we need to be doing, its just we always, 11 guys gotta be on the same page it’s always one person off on that play but I think it’s coming together.

This is exactly what I was saying in another thread. I don't think that the offense is bad. It's just the little things, and with all the talent and potential that they have they are on the verge of being great.

I mean, what you, you think we’re gonna run out in fear? We we can’t fear anybody. We know the Patriots playing great ball and we know we not playing great ball but yet and still we 4-2 so imagine if this weekend we go out and play great ball and give you everything that we can we know we got a chance, that’s how we feel.

So to everyone that is proclaiming ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE from the mountain tops. Clinton Portis doesn't agree with you, HE KNOWS that if they give everything that they got that they have a chance.

We not going to New England to lay down and say oh well the Patriots doing good, let’s give them this game. We going up there to play football and I promise you it will be some football played in New England

I'm glad Clinton Portis doesn't feel like they should just roll over and die like oh so many people on this board.

Please, action speaks better than words to me, and I don't wanna hear anything about atleast they know they're letting the defense down.

Until the entire offense starts producing on offense, and the coaches come up with some better game plans along with better strategic plans, I'm not buying it. I've been seeing and witnessing the same play along with the same kind of talk for the last couple of years now, and I just don't know anymore. Something has to give or changes need to be made, and what's so sad about it is where do you start, really? Some say it's Joe, some say it's Saunders and other believe it's the players, what is it? I even read the article about Portis blaming the coaches and hearing Gibbs say it's going to be a struggle. That in itself is telling me alot about this team especially the offense and the mind set right now, these guys and coaches evidently have no confidence in each other, and that kind of attitude shows on the playing field.

Right now, I think the defense has all the confidence in the world, and it took a guy like London Fletcher one of the newest additions to instill this IMO. But the offense is still the same old offense it has been the last couple of years, so who's to blame?

Seriously, if I see this offense getting punked this up coming Sunday, and playing with no heart or confidence, I give up until something chances. I'm no longer having faith in this team to overcome anything and I'm a die hard skins fan. Because it's starting to get and look pathetic on the playing field and somebody at Redskin park needs to take a real good look into the mirror. Because if the coaches don't believe and have faith that the group they're dealing with can overcome and play with anyone, then what will the players believe. It all starts from the top and we need some real leaders on both side of the ball and if the coaches can't lead, then they need to get out of the way, seriously. Because it's pathetic all the talent the organization has, and all the money that's spent year after year, this is all we get. Let alone all the money fans spend every year at the ball games and for tickets and parking.

Until something changes, and that's starting with the heart, i'm just going through the motions and hoping for a miracle.
