Offense or defense first?

Just wondering what people think would be best for our momentum on Sunday...being on offense or defense first?

I think a sick defensive series would be awesome, but imagine if we come out and drive down the field to open the game...

You always want to lose the toss..(unless you love to start on offense which I don't)this put's your defense on the field first and allows the offense to start the second half. The advantage of this is, if your down at the half you get a chance to come back and if your ahead you get a chance to bury the other team deeper.

When you win the toss you MUST elect to receive the ball because the second half is deferred to the choice by the other team who will always elect to receive.

Most people do not realize that if you win the toss and elect to kick off the other team will choose to receive the ball in the second half and you will have to kick off both halves a definite dis-advantage.

So you want to lose the toss to put your defense on the field first.

After the way Brady basically tossed balls up blindfolded and Moss somehow attracted them to his hands psychically, I think he'll look to do that again. There's just one problem: ST. I say D first.

we need to start on defense. i wanna know right out of the gate just what their O can do on our D. plus gettign the ball back at halftime is a good idea considering how many points new england usually scores in the first 2 quarters.

Start on defense..If we can stop them on their first drive, that would be huge..Especially if we could score on our first drive.
