View Full Version : 17 Unanswered Points?

Why all of the negative threads? Why not talk about more postive things, like the 17 unanswerd points? And most of them coming in the second half, another thing the team hasn't done. How about a team fighting back from behind from the opening kickoff? I also saw Landry being used the way we thought he would. While there are some negatives, there are quite a few positives as well.

Yea I just realized.....17 unanswered points. Maybe our offense is on the incline? We need better play from JC though. Our passing game is looking ****ing terrible right now.

Thank you. I thought it was pretty awesome that we came back in the second half. Usually, it's teams comin back against us. Who cares if it was the Jets, they were a team we had to beat, and we did.

The Redskins played hard. I don't like the fact that they dragged along against a 1-7 team but they won. THat's what counts.

Well, the fact that we can only score 17 points is concerning. There's a lot of negativity because we discuss our chances for the season. We don't turn the other cheek, it's recognizing flaws that we need to fix in order to be able to make it to the playoffs.

JC didn't look great today but I'm going to give him more than a year. But I still saw things I liked about him today about him. I hope LL is going to blitz a lot more, he drilled Clemons twice.

I'm not turning the other cheek at all, but I also won't sit on here a piss and moan about how pathetic my favorite team of all times is. I picked them to win 8 to 11 games before the season. And i'm sure the coaches are trying to fix flaws every week.

In the unofficial game thread I made a point how I think we exercised some demons today. We got payback from being up 17-3 and losing to a certain NY team.

If this win can not motivate or push this team to do well the rest of the season nothing will.

Lets hope the JETS we played today were the ones in the playoff team not the one with 1 win.

The Jets aren't as bad as their record. And Clemons scrambling was getting old fast.

We should have lost this game, if not for some wide open jets dropping passes. Our D got exposed, cause the jets did what the pats did on O and it worked. We blitzed a VERY inexperienced qb and he burned us. Whats so great about that? You can bad mouth me all you want, but our playcalling SUCKS. Yes we ran all over a terrible D, but what happens when we face a D that can stop the run? We sure as hell cant pass the ball. How many times did we even challenge the endzone on all those fg drives? 0 . 0 passes to the endzone. That my friends is coaching SCARED!!!!!!

More positives:

Landry was EVERYwhere today. That kid is something special. And thank god he finally got sent on blitzes...that is his friggin' specialty. Have no clue why it took so farking long.

OLine DOMINATED the LOS today, basically doing whatever they wanted to do. It was only when the Jets guessed right on run blitzes that they came close to stopping us.

Campbell got sacked without fumbling! Yay! ;)

Rocky got back to being a playmaker...that kid is special.

But, but, but, but, who cares about the 17 unanswered. I'm smarter than that. Why don't you understand that?

As an astute NFL fan I can see that this team sucks. Don't insult me, oppress me, and hold me down.

I'm as good a fan as you. I, just don't need to enjoy this win or any win for that matter.

We should have won by 40. A good team would have. And since we didn't the team might as well have lost..........or at least that's my position.

Yeah, and we should have beaten Green Bay and the Giants. What's your point? **** happens. We pulled together and got the win. We had a lot of dropped passes in Lambeau, but it still counts as a L on our record. :(

Dropped passes are the reason the skins lost one game this year. And a few were dropped this game, so don't use that excuse. I saw a little change in the D this week. Something is missing from the team earlier this year, but we still won.

Huge win today. After getting killed last week, to come back on the road after trailing 17-3 is awesome.

We've now matched last years win total as well, half way through the season.

It's cool to be struggling to find our way, yet still be 5-3.

This $hit aint over. :)
