I dunno exactly what is going on with Lloyd, but knowing Gibbs, I am sure Lloyd is beyond deactivated for a good while now. I just hope to god that it isn't James Thrash that is going to get all his snaps. I would rather have McCardell or Caldwell get them.

Yeah I'd like to see McCardell get those snaps, Thrash is an excellent special teams player but I'd rather see Keenan in at #3 receiver.

Was it just me or did that pass bounce right off Thrash's hands in the end zone today?

Man I was really pulling for Lloyd. But since he is going to act like a ***** he needs to stay deactivated.

For my money I would want Mcardell as #3

It does make me wonder what is preventing the coaches from activating Caldwell ahead of Lloyd. Maybe it's the contract.

He's clearly not fitting in here and may not fit in anywhere in the league. It's time to cut our losses. Addition by subtraction.

Llyod is an idiot. Instead of being happy someone gave him a chance and a fat payday, he's worried about being b. llyod the rapper that makes no cash.

didn't you hear? the Redskins are going to run the ball 40 times a game and run reverses to Randle El and Moss twice a game. There isn't any need for depth at wide receiver.

Thrash is a great blocker and special teams guy, but c'mon how many times are we going to have to watch him run bad routes, drop balls or just not make the play. I'd rather see sponge bob as a 3rd wide out than Thrash at this point.

Why has this patten become so apparant where we go after these players with aggression and money and then when they get here they are a pariah. I think this is pretty fishy man. So, now Caldwell is not fitting in well too?? Give me a break. When is the last time we even threw the ball more than once to any WR other than El or Moss?? This is getting laughable

It IS laughable. I for one am sick of our PATTEN of overpaying for wide receivers!

I have no idea about Caldwell. I was talking about Lloyd not fitting in.

Speaking of Patten, anyone see David Patten catch a TD today? Guess he's still got something left in the tank.

I'd sure love to see McCardell and Caldwell in at # 3 & # 4 Receiver spots than Thrash and Lloyd!! Thrashs' game excels on Special teams and Lloyd.... well he just plain sucks!! never liked the guy as a player, he's soft, won't go over the middle, can't take a hit, runs straight out of bounds WHEN he does catch a ball, and most of the time cant get off the line of scrimage when a corner presses him.

Cut them both (Thrash and Caldwell and Lloyd to if you can make the cap room fit), and go get some young guys off of some other teams practice squad. See if you can't find a young guy who will be able to contribute to a championship in 3-5 years because they ain't go this year or next and that will certainly be the end for them.

Where is Caldwell in all of this? I thought he was supposed to be a great possession receiver.

Agreed. The history here is getting quite long. Howard. Westbrook. Jacobs. McCants (Reminds Gibbs of Art Monk, remember?). Lloyd. The list goes on and on.

Meanwhile, think about this: What did we give up to get Lloyd? Now, what did the Patriots give up to get Wes Welker?

Thrash is absolutely worthless as a wideout. Why on earth isn't Caldwell playing? Why haven't we seen more of McCardell?

It's quite a shame when, on this team, our tight end/h-back is a better wide receiver than the guy who gets quite a lot of snaps at wideout, mr. thrash.

yeah... i'd rather line fabini up at WR... they accomplish the same thing.... just block and dont catch

Nothing he was inactive and did not make the trip.

put yourself in his shoes... you sign a big $ contract with the hopes of becoming a big $ player, and after a season of not getting any passes, you become disgruntled... shocker.

now, his confidence is blown and hes taking out his frustration on the coaching staff, which is pretty easy to do considering the skins' receiving numbers...

do i sympathize? not really. do i think he was given a poor chance? definitely.

Gibbs obsession for Thrash seems to be holding back our offense. We finally did a bunch of 3 wide today, but the 3 was Thrash. Woptee Doo - the D must have been thrilled. He scares no one and is never open. McCardell and Caldwell are not special teams guys, so I theorize Gibbs doesnt like them much so they wont play. This is 1983 still. You need to be a special teams guy if you dont start.

i did see McCardell get Lloyds' one snap today. I saw an 80 run off the field.

Forget Brandon Lloyd. He's not going to do what he wants and play for this current coaching staff. I'd like to see Keenen McCardell as the third WR sometimes. He can still be productive.

Do you really believe that twisted logic? Do you really think he was not given a fair opportunity to succeed?

We were foolish to bring in a deep only guy and then never go deep to him. We had 2 deep guys already anyways. I dont blame him for being pissed we didnt throw to him, I like guys that get pissed when they are expected to do something yet really dont get a chance. We used him as a possession guy - all that short crap we do. So he bulked up this offseason for his new role, and cant get on the field because of James Thrash!!!! Thrash even beats our Moss and ARE when we get inside the 10. WTF?

Lloyd is just another AA and Lavar. We cant figure out to use our highest paid players, players brought in yet not allowed to do what they do best. I would fire or hire our a GM.

Not sure about SpongeBob's hands, but he works hard in practice at route running and has deceptive speed, too.

McCardell may very well be the #2 receiver on this team in terms of route running and ability to be productive in this offense. I would rate Thrash well behind McCardell and there is no reason based on their career numbers for the Redskins to keep riding Keenan on the bench when the team is getting so little production out of the current group.

Yeah said but true LLoyd is most likely done this year. I believe if he doesnt do nothing this year he is cut from the team. I rather go for Chad Johnson and im not talking out my ass because i know that guy loves to win and he goes for the ball. I swear that guy will make big plays for us in this offence.
