Who exactly has problems with Shaun again? all kickers will have ups and downs but I do believe we have finally found our kicker for awhile. Shaun played a great game today and really had a major hand in helping us win, I hope the people who don't like him can at least agree to that.

I like him alot but I hate those short kick offs. The one in OT killed me....

It is funny, the guy missed a FG against ARI and there were threads immediately after the kick was missed. I mean nobody is perfect. The guy is clutch obviously and kickin 5 fgs in the Meadowlands of all stadiums isnt easy. He will miss a kick sometime again this season...all Kickers do but lets not crucify the guy the next time he misses a kick.

And to think, I was pro-Novak the entire way. Thank goodness the coaching staff went with Suisham. The guy has been great this year. I think the kick in OT today was the first end-of-game kick in years where I was actually confident that we'd make it and win.

Too many times in the past decade or so, we screwed the pooch in these situations. So much that I cannot assume any make from a kicker. :laugh:

If I remember he was brought in here for his kickoffs, and accuracy was his issue. I haven't heard anything but I'm thinking he has some nagging injury on that leg, any minor injury to the hammy or quad messes a lot with kicks in terms of distance.

I thought we purposely did those short kickoffs according to Gibbs? We saw one kick where Suisham booted it into the endzone.

I like him too but wonder why such inconsistancy with KO depths. He can put it 5 yards deep, then kick to the 15???
