Offense- C, CP had a great game, but JC numbers was not so impressive. Would have liked to see more TDs. Suisham saved the offense.
Defense- B, despite injuries, the dee eventually stop the Jets offense when it had to. We need Washington back in a big way.
Special Teams- B, started off bad with the Jets KOR, Suisham and Frost did great.
Coaching- D, passing game is terrible, much needed fixing, giving up 318 yds to a 1-7 team and making Clemons looked like the second coming of John Elway was not too impressive.
Bottomline- a win is a win.

At the beginning of the season a big determining factor on how well this team did (as with any team) was the play of the QB. JC has been inconsistent. He misses to many passes. He generally makes good decisions, but doesn't always accurately get the ball to his receiver. Now, he has been hindered by dropped passes, but that was not an excuse yesterday.
People keep yelling at the coaches to open up the offense. I am willing to bet that the coaches try to open it up to some degree, but are hindered by JC's inability to complete the pass when needed. For example, both the Philly and Jets games Moss was open deep near the end of the game for a killer strike. Both times JC missed. I bet if he hits those, and some others, they put the game more in his hands. In the Jets game Portis ran 10 yards for a first down on the next play and negated the bad throw.
Also in the Jets game Moss went over the middle and was open for the first down. JC's pass was to far behind Moss and fell incomplete. Instead of driving for a TD, we kick a field goal. It has been like that a lot this season. To reiterate, at times his receivers have also dropped the ball and not helped out so it has not been all his fault.

Offense C+-- six scoring drives. Very few three and outs, scored when they needed to, overcame special teams return, and defense's inability to force a punt.
Defense C- They kept the scoring down, but gave up way too many third downs, dropped coverage too often, lost contain on the qb and gave up way, way too many 10 plus yard drives.
Special teams: Return teams C. One shanked punt, a couple of short kickoffs, and poor coverage can get averaged out by 5 fieldgoals.
