With all the negative threads about J-Cam's play it reminded me of last year or last 2 years... Around this time or maybe earlier, there has always been threads calling for Brunell to be benched and calling for J-Cam or somebody... Where are all those threads now?!?!
If we have matured since then, where is the FRICKIN SUPPORT?!?!? C'mon you NAY SAYER fans, GET OVER IT AND SUPPORT YOUR FRICKIN TEAM!!

Nice call out thread.
I think all Skins fans realize that the best QB is on the field.
Whether that is an endorsement of him or a realization how precarious the backup positions are is another matter.

A lot of people start suicide threads, but I think this is one they don't want to plunge into yet.

We can say that he is doing better than V. Young....

I agree most people on this board really give the kid hell. Come on. Campbell is the first decent QB this team has had in awhile. He hasn't even finished 16 games and has a 5-3 record this year. the kid can manage the game. The only bad game I've seen him play is the pats game, but everyone was bad in that game. When campbell is hot, he looks like the SuperStar.

People called for Brunells head for 2 reasons:
1) There was no point in playing an old QB who's past his prime and wont improve
2) He was really stinking up the place

Well, see, there is a feeling, just a feeling mind you, that our best QB is on the field at the moment. Whereas in the past, there was a feeling that our best QB was not on the field. So, now, on the one hand, a guy who, rightly or wrongly, seems like the best choice vs. then, a guy, rightly or wrongly who seemed like the not best choice.

Jason Campbell is playing fine, but at some point we're going to have to face the cold hard truth: he's just not very accurate.

right now.....he will improve and we have to call plays where he can get in a rhythm throwing down field. Taking one shot down field in each half of a game doesn't really help him build up that confidence to get it done. I want to know that on any given play, if the opposing secondary shows us something we like, we take a shot down field.

And they're 6-2. I bet they're not calling for Kerry Collins.

Because Brunell was a scapegoat. Notice how all of the plays and passes that were called because of his "noodle arm" are the same plays and passes that are being called with JC under center. However, now Saunders and Gibbs are everyone's favorite bashing targets, so JC isn't taking as much heat as Brunell did, yet.

The only problem I've seen with the kid is he's got speedy receivers so when throwing deep..Put lots of air under it and throw hard..
He's either putting not enoug hair and throwing hard or too much air and taking some heat off the throw.
And hold on to the ball when the O-line breaks down..
Other than that i'm happy with his play for the most part

Part of it, is that you need to give a young QB time to develop. Nothing would be developing with over the hill QBs starting in place of Campbell.
I think Campbell has a long way to go. Alot of people blame the coaching staff but Campbell has fallen flat when given the opportunity. He's missed open WRs down the field way too much and he needs to improve on his accuracy in general.
I gotta say though, I don't understand people like the person who started this thread. I support this team every Sunday. I'm a fan and that's what gives me the right to criticize. If you can't see things that are wrong because you've got your cheerleader skirt pulled up over your head, well then... that's your problem.

Give it time.... the haters haven't noticed it yet. They're still consumed by Brunell-hate or BLloyd-hate.

JC is our best option. No one is calling for someone else because there is no one else.

I am going to start calling for ARE. In fact I'll start now. If ARE was QB, he would have more TD passes than JC.
