Green Lot Tailgate

Hey, I have been a skins fan my whole life and I just moved back to northern Virginia from Ohio and this weekend is going to be my first Redskins game at FedEx Field. I have got 2 tickets and a green lot pass. I have got a few other friends with me that just want to come and tailgate. Are they allowed to tailgate in the green lot while the game is going on while we are in the stadium watching the game. I only ask is because some other stadiums don't allow it anymore. So if they could tailgate in the parking lot the while game I will bring them along if not then I don't know what to tell them. Can anyone let me know what the rule is in the green lot.
