All of us paying attention knew that Vrabel scores touchdowns inside the 5 and Leon Washington is the second best kick off returner. So, we blew it with regard to those simple strategies.
This week - its Westbrook. Put one guy on him. Put two guys on him. He's going to get the ball almost every play. If he doesn't get the ball, that means someone else who sucks did. I hope the coaches are aware. HTTR!

It's just hard to defend Westbrook on those underneath routes considering our LBs are either dropping back in coverage or attacking via blitz. We don't play a read and react defense (thank God) that would allow someone to spy Westbrook. Advantage Eagles on this one, the Eagles' only advantage.

Something has to be done with Westbrook. He hurts us 10 times more than McNabb ever did.

Whenever they do a 5 yard dump off to Westbrook a little outside of the hashmarks, I squint to prepare for the few dozen yards he'll get.

and if the skins lose..its an 8-8 season. So winning is all that is important and stoppping Westbrook is the only way to win.

westbrook in all honesty scares me more than any other individual player in the nfc in terms of matchups. his skill set makes him a tough matchup for any defense.

We just need to make sure he is never matched up on a LB
OR
Purpose to line him up on a LB with the hope that McFlabb will notice and go to him. In the mean time, we anticipate this and cheat one of our safeties in his direction to hopefully light him up....

The more Westbrook runs the better it is for us. Running equals wear and tear. He only hurts us when he breaks a big play and that almost always comes when he is the checkdown and everyone else is covered so he goes for a big gain before we can get to him. The more he runs the more tired he gets which limits his big play ability. Single cover him with LL or ST keeping an eye on him for help. Their receivers outside of White Lightning from planet Utah are blocking receivers - nothing more.

Double Westbrook, double Curtis. If LJ Smith wants to beat us by himself, he can try.

No. I don't think the coaches know who Brian Westbrook is. He's really flying under the radar

That offence is based around Westbrook, I have London Fletcher assigned to spy Westbrook all game long, keep ST covering deep all game cuz philly has thrown deep quite a bit this season, then bring in Landry 2-3 times on a Blitz.
