it's clear as freaking day that gibbs wants the games to be low scoring slugfests(don't take yesterday into this),Gibbs is trying to force the team to play perfect gibbs football, and it's not happening.I had broncos friend who said that with the way we play, it seems like gibbs is trying to get us to perfectly execute his scheme but the problem is it's so difficult to execute, because of it's predictability and ease of stopping.run run pass.? I mean seriously, before yesterday we couldn't do anything on offense because teams would just sit on the run with 8men and we were ONLY throwing the ball on difficult 3rd and long situations. which is difficult for ANY QB LET ALONE a first year starter. and we got all these morons on here running there mouths about how jason isn't getting it done. it's like not wanting to get in a fight and the other guy breaks your legs and then you wanna fight but how good are your chances at winning now . jason's been put in some ridiculously bad situations.

our passing game is mainly short passes coupled with the occasional deep pass off of PA from a 1 WR set.....good luck with that.Yesterday was the first game ALL season that I saw a team not have 8 in the box and clinton got some good runs out of it.resulting from jasons success spreading the offense out and picking the D apart. still with short passes though.....

all we seem to run are hitches,go's,slants, and maybe a crossing route.god forbid you have play with a nice intermediate post route,a route that allows the receiver to use his speed, acceleration and agility to get a quick window for a nice pass and catch.

Brandon lloyd is such a physical beast with his nice little slant, god forbid they let him run something we're he has a good chance to catch the ball for more than 5 yards.

and as much as I think jason is an awesome prospect he always overthrows lloyd

It almost seems like greg williams is afraid to blitz because if he does and gets beaten, our offense would be toast in a shootout (prior yesterdays game when we opened it up between the 20s)

teams have shut down the philly offense by getting pressure on McNabb and in my gut I knew we could have terrorized him all day by blitzing.but instead williams played the conservative bend but dont break.

if your gonna go down might as well go down punching rather than shielding yourself.

our talent on offense says we're a team that wants to throw the ball around and also slash the defense with some portis&betts runs, but gibbs wants to be a run first guy.good personell but you can't make portis a power back and antwaan randle el isn't the amazing possession WR that is Hines Ward.

our talent on defense says we need to blitz because andre carter is the only one who can muster a decent pass rush.and we have a very good secondary even without carlos.but if you can't get after the QB no coverage will hold forever.

Why are you posting all of this crap about the offense after yesterday? Your about a day late. The offense showed what it's capable of when spread out and they did it against a pretty good defense.

We lost yesterday because our defense collapsed and Gibbs wouldn't stick with the aggressive playcalling inside the 10 on goal drives...you know the infamous draw play on 3rd and 7.

Time for Gibbs to go, bring on Bill Cowler! He won it a Super Bowl with big Ben in his second year as a QB!!!!!

Injuries, penalties, missed tackles, other coaches also played a minor part.
