Careerbuilder Spam

Earlier in the year, I posted a resume on careerbuilder.com.

I removed it shortly thereafter. But since then, I've been getting at least 4-5 spam Emails a day.

I went to careerbuilder and changed my profile Email address, to no avail.

Is there anything I can do?

I did the same thing although I didn't try to get rid of it. I'll try to get rid of mine and let you know. They only show me crappy jobs that barely pay half of what I make already.

The stuff I'm getting is stupid, fake, job offers like some company in England is looking for US representatives for their virtual shipping company, yadda yadda yadda.

I looked on Monster for jobs and posted my resume, haven't noticed any increase in spam. I get an assload of spam as it is.

The other day I went on careerbuilder and just saw all the worthless job postings, the ones with work from home and make $1000 week and stuff. I immediately left the site. They really need to have a better way of posting jobs.

Notice too if you search in a job field, any field ads for:

"TV/Movie Extras and Actors, make $200-$400 per day!!"


I've e-mailed careerbuilder and other sites about this and they do nothing, these job postings are BS and have nothing to do with the field that I have searched.

This is why I hate the job sites.

Agreed on all counts. It annoys the heck out of me too. In fact, I think somehow my resume is still floating around out there. I still get calls from recruiters.
