Great quote at the bottom for us, were are clinging onto the last "top 16" spot.
When asked why the ‘Skins have so many second-half collapses, Joe Gibbs responded, “I don’t think anyone has an answer for that.” Hey Joe—you should. It’s your job.

Great quote
Classic!!!!!!!!
It's funny...to see fans happy that our team is being bashed in the media. I guess the tide really is turning when we used to tell these media folks to stuff it when they pull quotes like this. Now we have fans cheering. It's a sad day indeed. :(

I couldn't agree more. Both the team and it's Hall of Fame coach are a laughingstock, and fans here are celebrating it.

Yea so why exactly are you drinking to that?
Because its true, we have the most losses in the second half
We can't finish a game
Our coach says to the media "I hold my breath when I make a call"
If this wasn't JG would except these answers from a HC...Hell no!!!!!!!

UHHHHH..Not celebrating, justed pissed. And it's about time our coach and players live up to the hype.
Certainly, Danny S isn't going to call out JG or this O, why get upset when someone in the media has the jewels to do it?

Funny...usually when someone in the media calls out this team this site is flooded with threads calling for the guy's head.
Now we are toasting it. My, how times have changed.

Sorry to give the wrong impression, i was being very sarcastic, i love my skins and will continue to go to every game no matter what, but having to listen to some punk Philly fan laugh me out of my own stadium after we lost another game we should have won has truly tested my loyalty to this team. I just hope Joe turns things around so we can all stop second guessing him.

Get used to it, until the skins win. This team has talent, no excuses for the way they have been playing.

cmon, it was a funny comment, and it was true as well. theres no sense in getting down, might as well have a sense of humor about us blowing leads like its our job.

I agree. Their talent is a reflection of who? Isn't it the Head Coach, who makes the final decision on drafts and free agents? Of course it is but when the coaching staff' in and of itself is questionable what would a person expect from the players.
But I am sorry "we are all together". The funny thing about the same statement every loss is that we aren't all together. We, the fans are becoming broke and discourage and they the coaches and players are rich and getting richer at our expense.

Until you come to grips with the fact that there is a problem, you can't fix it.
Gibbs is the problem. I'll be happy when Gibbs is gone, and we have a new coach with balls, who is decisive and aggressive. Gibbs is a great person, but his second tenure has been a failure. I want a Superbowl win, and it will never happen under Gibbs.

We have the most blown halftime leads in the NFL since 2004. I don't think it's a coincidence that that's when Joe Gibbs came out of retirement.

It's being celebrated because more and more people are becoming aware of Gibbs' deficiencies. Meaning that if the right people become aware through this general increase in awareness, Gibbs might not be the head coach for the Redskins much longer, which increasingly seems to be something positive.

The Pittburg Steelers won a Superbowl with a QB that threw 9 times, a running back who was a year over due ffor retirement, and a defense that had Chad Scott, and Ike Taylor as the QB's. Cower got more out of less, than Joe has. Right now the Joe has lost his halo. It's football plain and simple. You have two 1000 yard backs, a budding QB, a sound enough defense, and yet in still we never seem to go into games with a swagger.....we seem like we expect to loose, and Joe nutures that. When we went up against the Pats, the statement he made was the worst in NFL history. You are asking men to give a 110%, and yet you undermine that effort by conceding defeat before the game even started. Is it the diabetic medicine that is making Joe soft?

And when we get a new coach with balls and we are taking more shots down the field and scoreing but the other team is also than what people will be saying we need to run the ball more.... remember the run and gun ....it will come to past when we will be saying I wish Gibbs was still here lol

I don't know why our fans celebrate these kinds of comments. What do you expect Gibbs to answer with? "Well Cooley's false start in the red zone really blew the game for us, so I guess that's why we lost." Or "You know, Sean Suisham just didn't fight his guts out on the extra point after our first TD so I think that killed us." Regardless if Gibbs knows why we lost he isn't going to say it.

So would you rather him say what he thinks the problem is and hand a blueprint to the rest of the coaches in the NFL?
Of course he's going to say he doesn't know what the problem is.

Something positive?! Were you not around for the Norv or Spurrier years? Gibbs may not be winning Super Bowls but at least we're in it and might still have something to play for in December. I'll take that over the alternative.

The other thing that's hilarious, (and old) are the
"This team is a ****ing joke, the coaches should be fired and Gibbs is a senile old fart who needs to go back to NASCAR" with the, "but I will always bleed Burgundy and Gold"... qualifier.

This attitude has been just peeping around the corner. That ridiculous, unnecessary loss to the then 3-4 Eagles has just pushed our fan base over the edge. That hurt. Might not be as bad if we weren't going into a game with the damn Cowturds but god knows this is what it is. And its so sad.

well we are now in the bottom 16, b.s. if you ask me, look at we he wrote about the cowpukes..
It’s like Gibbs finally made the introduction. “Jason Campbell meet Santana Moss. Santana is one of the best playmakers in the league. Now throw him the dang ball.”
