View Full Version : FedEx Field: Plusses/Minuses of various sections

Next Sunday will be my 3rd game at FedEx. My first game I sat about 12 rows back in Section 109 and my second game was in the nose bleeds in 435. Currently, I have tickets for the Bills game in the Loge section (408).

So here's my question for you game-day vets. What's so special about Loge or Club level seats? Are they worth the extra money? Maybe this is a better question: if you could sit in the Loge or lower level for the same price, which would you choose and why?

I really appreciate any feedback you all can give. It's great to have a community to be able to ask these questions to people who have actual experience. (If this question has already been discussed, please link me to the thread. Thanks!)

I've never sat in Loge. I have sat in the club level for nine seasons, and I think that if an individual were to pay the going rate for club level, it would be an enormous waste of money. Excpet for good sightlines, you get very little for seats that start at $265/game these days.

Thanks for the feedback. I did find a couple of good threads on the Loge section. Below are a few of them:

I'd still love to hear from a few of you where you'd sit if you could choose between lower level seats, club seats, and loge seats. What made you choose that section? Anybody else have any valuable feedback? Thanks in advance.

I think you'll enjoy the loge experience for one game, but I doubt you'd want it for every game.

The loge level is high and far from the field behind the endzones, so the views aren't as good as most of the lower level. In fact, the loge is only a few feet below the upper level so the views are comparable to the 400s. The loge level is also very quiet.

However, if you paid less than $200 per seat to sit in loge, you will enjoy the ammenities of giant reclining chairs, no rest room or concession lines and few donkeys standing up to walk in front of of you as the ball is snapped. You should enjoy the experience for the first time. If you paid more than $200 per seat, I don't think it's worth it at all. I'd much rather be in the lower level for the $.

Needless to say, the atmosphere in the lower level is much better than loge b/c the seats are packed shoulder to shoulder, while the loge is normally only half full. However, you will lose game time in the lower level while waiting in lines and views may be obstructed by inconsiderate patrons who ignore the game. However, these discomforts are not enough to keep me out of the lower level for every game.

Enjoy the loge! HTTR!

I've never been up there, but I'll state the obvious anyway:

If it rains, the Loge is a nice place to be.

If the high temp is no higher than 35, the Loge is a nice place to be.

Thanks, guys. I feel like I got the tickets for a fairly good price (right at $150 ea.). I thought at first that would include the buffet and Tailgate Club, but apparently not (was trying to avoid the high prices for food and drink). Living in Mississippi, I only get to come to one game a year so I try to maximize the experience best I can. If I can find better seats I may try to sell these for what I paid. Then again, it may be nice just to try something different.

Personally I prefer the lower section (100's)....I know the tickets are pricey but worth it to me. Enjoy the game!

2nd that.
I was in the "dream seats" Redskins side for the Redskins/Ravens 2006 scrimmage and it was cool b/c the players could hear you and they signed autographs etc. but the sightlines sucked especially for what you'd pay during the season to sit there (for me b/c of the scrimmage it was free).

Love the upper edck b/c you get to watch the plays develop. Now if people would get off their hands and get loud and quit telling me to sit down, I'd be even happier.

i have season tickets on both lower level and the club level. i also work on the club level at the cigar bar, Club Macanudo.

there is something great about being on the lower level, packed together with fellow fans. the true fans are down lower and up higher. i do like the club level, but it doesn't get wild, and people aren't yelling as much below. plus last game, a lot of the suites above club were filled with eagles fans yelling (E-A-G-L-E-S) which was rude and disrepectful in our house...club is nice for the winter time though when temperatures drop pretty low.

dreams seats are fabalous also....

hope you enjoy the game wherever you are....GO SKINS!!!

Whats the Buffer and Tailgate club? Does that come with club level tickets?

Whats the Buffer and Tailgate club? Does that come with club level tickets?

Some of the other guys may be able to answer this question better than me, but from what I understand, the Loge level has a buffet available. If you're not a season ticket holder, you have to purchase a $25 wristband, but it's good for all-you-can-eat and stays available for most of the game. I'm assuming that includes drinks (probably not alcoholic drinks).

There is also a Tailgate Club before the game starts that requires a special pass, and a post-game party after the game in the Club Level. To get into the post-game party you have to have either a Tailgate Pass or a Club/Loge level ticket.

Did I get all of that right?

I've sat in the Club, Loge and Upper Level. U/L was free so I can't knock it. I've done three games in the Loge and enjoyed it. I believe you can purchase the wristbands for the Loge buffett for $25 when you get there. The food was pretty good. You will have to buy any drinks you wish to consume though. I do enjoy being able to sit on a sofa and watch the game or another game. Short lines for nicer restrooms is a bonus.

I have been to the Tailgate Buffett as well and liked that a bit better. Its all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, etc plus they have free soft drinks. I'm the DD so free soft drinks are killer for me!!! I haven't done the tailgate this year though.

I am trying something new for the Bills game 12/2 - Owners Club Suite!!!

I don't know about the Lower Levels.

I am trying something new for the Bills game 12/2 - Owners Club Suite!!! How in the world did you get into the owner's club suite? Or are you confusing that with the other suites?

Scroll down to the bottom for the Owners Club Suite East. The picture tour of it looks really nice. I'm curious as to what kind of food they have there or anything else I can find out about it.

I've never done upper level at FedEx, but I imagine that UL near midfield is awesome. I've sat in the upper deck between the 40s for Skins games at Qwest and Reliant stadiums, and you could watch everything on any play, so I'm sure the equivalent seats at FedEx would be just as good.

I've sat in the LL twice, once about 2/3 up at the 20, and once in about row 15 at the goal line. The goal line seats were great for action in front of you, but action at the opposite end of the field made for awkward viewing.

I sat in the club level once at about the 25, and the view was good, but the atmosphere was a little lacking as far as exuberance goes. Better beer selection.

But the best seats I ever had were at my first ever Redskins game, in section 201. I was at about the 47 yard line, overlooking the LL, under the shelter of the UL (it was Week 1, very hot, making the shade sooo nice), and I was about 10 feet in front of the TV booth. Turn around, there was Pat Summerall. Look over your left shoulder, there were Sonny, Sam & Frank. Look over your right shoulder, there was Dan Snyder. And the view of the field was phenomenal. If I could sit anywhere in the stadium, I think that's the section I'd pick. Great view and atmosphere, and you're out of the elements. Might be a little cool on a sunny day in the winter when you'd rather get some rays, but it's a good tradeoff for shade from the heat and shelter from the rain.

The Loge is also nice because you get to take an elevator up to the Upper suite level. Wether its hot or cold outside the temp is always just right in the Loge yet it has the glass down during the game so you can hear the sounds of the crowd and game.. Everyone seems to treat you just a little bit nicer that the other floors. Hand towels in the made for one person bathrooms are nice also. You also have full access to the club level bars and restaurants and the 5th quarter party with live bans and the Redskins cheerleaders. Ive sat in the Loge once in 05 against the Chargers and will for the Dec 2nd Bills game, its nice for every once in awhile. Have also had season tickets in the 449 sec and 326 sections and have sat in the 452, 424,422 306, 333,313,314, 114,125, and 126 sections and would rather sit in the lower level sections than anywhere else.
