Report: Hulk Hogan’s wife files for divorce
Wrestler, star of reality TV series told by reporter that paperwork was filed

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Linda Hogan has filed for divorce from her wrestler husband Hulk Hogan, a newspaper reported Friday.

Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, told the St. Petersburg Times that he had no idea his wife had filed for divorce. He was informed by a reporter that Pinellas County court records showed that the paperwork was submitted Tuesday.

“Thank you for the great information,” he told the reporter.

Family spokesman Adam Handelsman referred calls to another spokesman, who did not immediately respond Friday night.

“My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes,” Bollea later told the newspaper. “Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me.”

The couple star in the VH1 reality TV series “Hogan Knows Best,” with their two children. Recent episodes show the normally close couple attending marital counseling, but they eventually reconcile....

It seems like more and more women are filing for divorse and from the show it really seemed like she was pushy and didnt really respect him that much. Pretty sad.

Women file for divorce in 75-80 percent of the cases and I REFUSE to believe all 75-80 of those men 'deserved it.'

Fact is, women have the freedom and do not expend their essence in pumping out baby after baby. ONce the kids are popped out and reared to adulthood, her biological imperative has been fulfilled and she loses interest in the relationship. The best always advise that the marriage should come before anything else while it still exists but not everyone feels the same or acts accordingly.

Then with their divorce settlement (in some cases, at least) they form their hen circles with their friends (who may have had a hand in advising divorce by callously denigrating the husband or poking their nose where it didn't belong) and go shopping, cougaring and the like and shortly settle down to rob another man of his wealth and vitality.

First, the easiest way to a divorce is to have a reality TV show about your family. If I watched my wife complain over and over and vice-versa I'd probably get a divorce too.

Not at all. I've never been married and even my 'great flame' in my youth was not that kind of ending and I have no hard feelings towards her.

Actually, other than one relationship, I cherish and still have great affection for all my exes.

But observation and experience tell me that I can feel that way because I never married any of them and that even the 'good ones' can up and surprise you some day.

More and more young men are refusing to marry, not from a sense of immaturity but because the family court law is stacked against them in a number of ways.

It's all a big industry and no one has any incentive (other than men) to change it.

So true in so many cases. Family law (sic) is the absolute worst racket I've ever seen. They've perfected corruption to a T.

I don't think that would apply since they are both responsible for their son at the time of the accident and would both be held liable for their son even if divorced
