One of the first things I wanted to do after I read about Sean Taylor leaving us was to buy one of his jerseys. Him being one of my favorite current players (next to Portis), who doesn't want to go out and show their support for him by wearing his number for the next few weeks.

However, I am sickened and absolutely disgusted by all the people who are not Sean Taylor fans buying out jerseys so they can sell them on Ebay. How Ironic is it that a guy who gets murdered for money has its fans taken advantage by greedy opportunists. How shameful it is that his death be in such vain.

So I ask all Redskin and Sean Taylor fans to please, please, don't pay excessive amounts for a #21 jersey. Pay a fair price only (nothing more than $15.00 for its original price). Also, I encourage us to show restraint in not getting angry at those who may appear unsympathetic...I just had a woman Puke fan rub in the win last week after I told her he was my favorite player and I was a Skins fan...like I really care .

Anyways, yeah its his number, but he was more than that number...he was a human being who worked his butt off so that number could mean what it does for us today. I will spray paint a t-shirt with 21 before I let his number get dragged through the filth that is these opportunists. I encourage the rest of you to do the same. HTTR.

Unfortunately people will always do it. And you know what if I had a Sean Taylor jersey I would probably do it. I know that people will object for moral reasons, but it's the same thing as people selling things for the VT massacre or what have you. I have no use for the jersey because I have a Chris Cooley jersey and someone else obviously wants to show their support so I see no harm.

You may object, fine, but honestly people don't get so bent out of shape.

Agreed. I'll definitely wait until things calm down a bit before buying his jersey...but I'm definitely buying it at some point.

I will absolutely buy a Sean Taylor jersey, as I've been waiting years for a reason to choose which player to wear. This is a perfect opportunity to honor a great player, one of my favorite Redskins, who died far too young.

But I will wait so as not to line the pockets of people who would exploit tragedy.

I went to the store at FEDEX this morning to get a Jersey and they were already out of the sizes bigger than Large. My husband needs much bigger so I was out of luck. There was a lady in there that said she was at Modells or another store and someone in front of her bought every jersey that was there and she was really mad cause she only wanted one. I think thats TOTALLY wrong. I did end up finding an XL jersey at the Modells by my house in Severn. I had to drive to the redskins store to get my woman's jersey anyway.

yeah its pretty ridiculous how many jerseys are on ebay right now, some people choose to remain selfish even in times of a tragedy.

I went to the stadium store this morning, they had a lot of them. For those looking for them the stadium store should have a new order in tomorrow. I would call 1st

I bought #21 jersey last year but never wore it. I have multiple jerseys and I wear them whenever and whichever I feel like. I havent been out much this year due to a restricted license so I havent had a chance to rock them out. I will never sell any jersey I own.

I will wear his jersey tommorow so if you see a fedex guy delivering in #21 jersey that might be me. I will be around fairfax and tysons area!

I have a #36 premier #36 autographed spear (70th anniversary -the 70th patch) and a #21 premier and my son has a #21 replica. I couldnt believe the outrageous prices on ebay it makes me sick jerseys that were going for 50-75 bucks sunday night are going for over 200. To all those trying to cash in and jacking up prices on his fans go straight to hell!!

I just left an ebay seller a nasty message after his Taylor jerseys went up from $30-$40 (Someone bought one yesterday for about $35) to "buy it now" for $199. Not that it matters to him, someone else will feed his greedy wallet, but I felt at least a bit better after giving him a piece of my mind.

So, now that we know people will be ripping fans off.. how or where do you think it'd be possible to get a 75th ann. ST jersey? Are there any still for sale in or around D.C.? I live in N.Y., so it'd be impossible to go get one, but I'd appreciate any info (like possible store phone numbers so that I can call the stores). It's probably not possible, but I'd also be willing to buy one from someone on here if they were willing to go out and purchase it.

Thanks for any help you can offer. This being my first official post, I'd like to thank ExtremeSkins for always keeping us NYers up to date on all things Redskins.

R.I.P. Sean

Hey fellow mourners...not sure if this has been talked about yet...but the search will not work...probably because of how insanely busy the site is...and there are too many Sean threads to read every post...

I wanted to recommend to people to NOT buy a Taylor jersey on ebay. I checked ebay yesterday when Sean was still alive and in hospital because his jersey is sold out from every possible retailer on earth right now...there were maybe 45 jerseys if I remember correctly...right now there are nearly 300...this is people trying to make money off Sean's death because they know we all want a jersey of his...

But don't do it...be patient...don't line the pockets of these worthless people who are looking to profit off a young father's death...it's disgusting and pathetic and they should all be drawn and quartered.

Anyhow...maybe some of you disagree but I say all Redskins and Sean Taylor fans should boycott Sean gear on ebay.

Be patient and place and order like I have. You'll get your jersey soon enough and you'll still feel that emotion the first time you pull it on.

EDIT - wow...thanks to TK for the name change...I was known as jasonpike00 until this very post...my name is now my tribute to Sean...thank you again TK and thank you again Sean...

I was just going to post the same thing. They went from $46 yesterday to $150-$300. This is SAD! If you look at where they are coming from it's in Korea. It's a shame that those of us who would like to honor his memory are forced to see this kind of scalping. All the scum have bought out every reputable retailer and are selling them for 4 times the price. Please pass this on. I hate to see people only looking for a quick buck off a tragedy.

I have CP and Riggins jerseys. Once all of this craziness about jerseys calms down I will pay regular price, and honor ST by hanging his jersey on my wall.

Alot of counterfit Jerseys are going for hundreds on Ebay. Its SICKENING! People trying to make a buck off ST's Passing.

I wanted the auth 75th jersey for my bday and now cant get it due to out of stck EVERYWHERE. But I AM NOT helping anyone cash in on his death on ebay or anywhere else for that matter. Its honestly disgusting what people are doing.

Snyder should still continue to sell the jerseys online thru redskins.com to eliminate this.

Words cannot express how I feel. My thoughts and prayers are with Sean Taylors family, the Redskins and Fellow Fans.

I know he'd never do it, but I thought it'd be a good idea for Mr. Snyder to buy jerseys for everyone who attends the Bills game. I mean come on....roughly $70/jersey times 90,000 people wouldnt even dent his pocket. :)

Kinda sad.
I have a #36 Taylor and I wanted to get a #21 Taylor for my wife who's attending the game with me on Sunday. We both wanted to honor Sean's memory by wearing his jersey(s).

Nobody really has one available online.....ebay has replicas going for $200!!!!

I have his game used jersey and I won't even think about selling it! It is priceless and I will never sell it. I don't think it's right for people to go out and buy out all of ST's jersey just to make a profit!
