As we all well know by now, Sean Taylor died this morning stemming from a shooting that hit his femoral artery in his leg, causing a serious loss of blood and eventually a death. Sean left behind more than just recievers, big hits, and interceptions on the field, but he also left a true passion for the game of football so rarely seen today. More importantly however, he left an even better person, a troubled one but a person that was on the right track after becoming a father. He leaves behind an 18 month old girl who will never know her father, and a girlfriend who I'm sure was deeply in love with Sean.
I've created this thread, to keep Sean Taylor in our hearts. Leave some memories (I don't care how many) about Sean as either a player or person.
My biggest one's of Sean are:
1.) The hit he laid on Patrick Crayton on Monday Night in 2005
2.) The Fumble recovery against Philadelphia that put us in the playoffs
3.) The Hit on Jerry Porter in 2005
4.) His Fumble recover in the playoffs
5.) His rookie season, where he was standing on the sidelines with Clinton Portis where Portis had his arm around Sean getting him ready for his first game in the NFL
6.) Finally: His crazy Hair-Do's and Modifications that he made to his Uniforms that may have resulted in some fines but still provided great entertainment for the fans.
We'll Miss you Sean Taylor. Rest In Peace, I hope God has a field where you can lay out Recievers day and Night and keep that passion for football alive.
Sean Taylor (1983-2007) RIP!
