Sales of Taylor Jersey Ceased?

Does anyone know if they have ceased the sales of Taylor's jersey effective immediately? I have been to several stores and none of them, including the team store had it. I thought it may just be sold out, but I went on line and I don't even see it listed on any of the 3-4 websites I have checked, including the redskins store online.

Although the Bias death hit me as a nine year old MD fan, the reality of this situation is far worse.....I can't believe it and tears well up every time I think of the man and player that was lost. My only way to deal with this is to wear his jersey and remember the good times. Rest in peace ST....you will be greatly missed.

I was able to go onto NFLShop.com and pick what type of jersey I wanted and customize it with Taylor #21 on it. I was able to do it just a few hours ago so maybe that is still a possibility.

I put in an order for a custom authentic 75th anniversary jersey with the number 26 and his name printed on the back. I know it's a lot of cash and I could find better ways to contribute with that cash, but just like the many Sean Taylor memories that will stick with me for a lifetime I hope this jersey will just the same.

No they aren't ceased. His jersey has always been at such high demand. I go to the Redskins store every month or so and his jersey is never there. I went to one redskins store today and they said they should have another shipment very soon. You almost have to catch them when the truck is unloading. I still don't have a Taylor jersey to this day and he is my favorite skins player. I will try to get one tomorrow.

Hopefully the team will come out with some merchandise or donate all Sean Taylor Jersey proceeds to his family. It would be nice if they started a fund or something for his daughter.

we always talk about how with FA, no one stays with the same team for very long anymore

well, folks - and not to trivialize it based upon the subject matter of jerseys - Sean Taylor will be a redskin forever. he will always be in the family. no question. sign me up.

I went to a yahoo shop, and placed the order in this morning(around 1 am), even the shop I went to said it's back ordered for 3-4 weeks, and the others are sold out. So the sales are not ceased.

I was at the FedEx Field store around 5pm and they had plenty of ST jerseys. Also, I saw an employee pulling more out of boxes.

For some reason, the thought of anybody profiting off of ST's death made me angry, and caused me to hope (probably in vain) that some of the proceeds would go to ST's baby girl. Oh well.
