I don't have a problem with it.

If you could make it 'R.I.P. Sean' that'd probably be better.

Won't let you put a period in it. only letters

What about this?

Bill,

Not sure I could give you an honest answer yet...

The freshness of ST's demise is affecting my otherwise good judgment. :)

It bothers me a little, but I can't put my finger on why. The second one seems better to me. Then again, I would never tell anyone how to pay tribute to, honor, or grieve and I don't think that it could be understood by anyone as something meant to be offensive.

Sorry for the wishy washiness.

It's cool Burg. I've been wishwashy all day

I feel like it's a little tacky, personally. I think it would be better served to just wear his Taylor 21. Not a bad idea, it just comes off a little...i dont know.

i want to say yes but something in me says it is politically wrong just wear his 21 jersey

your intentions are good, but honestly, it's enough of a tribute to just be wearing a #21 jersey with Taylor on it.

We want to remember him as the awesome football player he was...not with the RIP attached is my opinion......I agree just wear #21 jersey....

This is so awful :(

IMHO, I wouldn't vote 'Absolutely Not', but I think wearing the jersey as he did is more appropriate.

If you wanted a shirt with RIP and some suitable graphic, then do it on a different shirt.

My thoughts exactly.

My Taylor #21 Jesey will be worn every Sunday for the rest of the season.

enough said. Thanks for the input.

Wish I could find a jersey

I'm in the same "not sure yet" boat.

I know I'm wearing my Taylor jersey to the bar Sunday, then I may very well retire it. Get a frame & hang it in the computer room or something......

Somehow I don't like that jersey. I think just the regular jersey is a great tribute. The RIP seems to focus on the death i guess while the taylor jersey focuses on the life. :2cents:

I wouldn't go for something as obvious as RIP or RESTINPEACE personally.

If I was getting one, I'd have it say something along the lines of "FOREVER" or "NEVER FORGOTTEN" if that'll fit.

I don't have a prob with it though.

hmm. "FOREVER" sounds good

I think your aiming for the "Look at me I'm Honnoring ST" spiel. It's really disresptful to try to make a shirt like this while trying to be a show off. I think just wearing his regular jersey is good enough.

I agree with this sentiment.

I don't understand why this jersey wouldn't be appropriate. Do what you want bill. I like the idea.

"restinpeace" over "rip sean" gets my vote

Kicking myself now, because they had 2 Taylor 75th jerseys, the quailty ones, at a local mall by me a couple weeks ago, but I choose the Laudry, because it is his rookie year. Needless to say they were scooped up in a hurry. Sad part, it probably wasn't by a Redskins fan.

You don't need to put R.I.P.

You can just honor him by wearing his normal jersey.
