But after I was here for a while, during training camp, I told people, 'Why'd you need me? You already got a great leader, and it's Sean Taylor,''' Fletcher told SI.com Tuesday. "I mean, he loved football. If we were on the sidelines during practice, he'd run out to take some scout-team reps. We're getting beat bad in New England, and he's saying in the huddle, 'I don't care what the score is! Keep playing, keep playing.' Last week, before Thanksgiving, he's in the trainers' room, getting treatment, he's telling everyone in there to have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with their family. That's a leader.''

Read the rest of the article here a great read.

That's the kind of inside info I love to read. I always knew Sean loved football that much and had a heart of a warrior. I hope the team takes solice in the fact that the game they play, is the passion that Sean enjoyed most in his life.

That's the kind of inside info that makes me sad. I agree with everything you said but maybe I'm just too soft. Fletcher makes it clear that he felt that Sean was the best at what he did but not only that, Sean also loved doing what he was the best at. He perfected one aspect of his life and was looking to move on towards probably the most important aspect of his life outside of a relationship with God (if he believed in this kind of thing)

Everything was looking up. I don't know if it's true or not, it may just be a rumor. But rumor has it that he was looking for a home in this area to distance himself from Florida. It's not a stretch to say that eventually he would have been proud of his now grown daughter, proud of his HOF career, proud of winning the Super Bowl. But now in reality none of that is possible because someone said Sean Taylor man eff that man. Imma shoot his a**. We'll see who is Sean Taylor and who is not then.
