I've always generally disliked Brian Billick. I've always thought the most apt description I ever heard of the man was Tony Konrheiser's "preening schmo."

That said, I'm here to admit that I laughed out loud last night when he disarmed and, in my eyes, made the Pats' Rodney Harrison look like a chastened child for engaging in some look-at-me histrionics in front of Baltimore's bench.

Just want to take a minute to say Billick earned back a little respect from me last night. I love this.

Hilarious. Harrison should have been called for taunting though.

Can anyone tell me what the #91 on the back of the Pats helmets was all about?

The Patriots lost one of their players earlier this year in a boating accident where he drowned. I can't remember his name but he was a defensive tackle I think.

I can't stand Billick I think he's arrogant, pompous but I love that exchanged with Harrison I cracked up.

Priceless but if he did it once it would have more of an effect.

I thought it was great. You'd never see Coach Gibbs do something like that. Not that I would want him to because that would be so out of character for him. But for BIllick? Perfect.

That was pretty funny.

But I'm reminded of that ridiculous penalty called on London Fletcher for "taunting" by looking in the general direction of the other team's bench.

Guess the Pats are exempt from that, in addition to getting phantom pass interference calls at least once per half.

The let a lot of the after the play stuff go last night and I think it was fine. Obviously there was a lot of emotion and they let the players play.

The calls at the end of the game however, are another story

Previously, I always considered Billick to be a huge dork, but after that, I gained mucho respect for him, haha.

Dude has no lips so he had to do it several times to make sure he saw it

I laughed when I saw that last night.

Then I thought it was funny when Randy Moss popped off after the game that the Patriots don't "Run their mouths like the Ravens do."

That was funny. He showed no respect for Harrison. That's classic. :rotflmao::rotflmao:

Yeah - exactly what I thought of first. This was funny, but it only pisses me off. IIRC, that was a HUGE penalty, and could have cost us the game.

BTW, I usually hate when players do extremely stupid things, but when Bart Scott picked up that flag and threw it in the stands he did exactly what most at home watching wanted to do, good for him.

And good for Billick too.

That was the highlight of the game. I applaud Bart Scott for doing that, haha.

The refs sure looked one-sided last night. I was very disappointed with the way the game was called, and I don't blame Scott one bit for getting frustrated.

Harrison was being a jerk and BB handled it with humor. Good for him.

What is the back story with those two?

And why was Harrison allowed to do that in front of Billick without getting a penalty?

I would hope that most players in the NFL wouldint do that to Gibbs...

That was great. For about 4 hours last night, the Ravens were my favorite team.

If Harrison wasn't a Patriot, he'd get fined heftily.
