I'm going on record as saying the Steelers take down the Pats

I think they have the best chance, but they won't.

That would definitely be cool, but its not gonna happen. The Steelers have a bad habit of underachieving in away games.

Wish it would happen but I can't see it. There was an interesting article (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-timdahlberg-120407&prov=ap&type=lgns) in the paper today from the AP talking about how the NFL has a vested interest in seeing the Pats go undefeated. The writer was tying it into how the NFL would like to see the last NFL Network game of the season, NE vs Giants, be really hyped up due to NE being undefeated. He was insinuating that the NFL could use that to put pressure on the cable companies to carry the NFL Network.
Not saying that I believe all this conspiracy theory stuff but something funny sure seemed to be going on in Baltimore Monday night.

I don't want to see any team go undefeated (unless their name is the Redskins). I'm hoping the Steelers can take them down. :)

A Steelers player already came out publicly to guarantee a win.

They already gave the Pats ammunition right there.:2cents:

I think they will win. Pats are going down. It's time.

I think he meant the only team that has a legitimate chance of winning going into the game. No one expected the Ravens to make the game close but they somehow managed to. If the Steelers can't do it, then no one else will.

Unless you know someone with a time machine, I don't think the Ravens are on the Pats schedule again this year.

The Steeler's, like the last two teams that played the Patriots, definitely have a chance. Maybe even the best chance...

BUUUUTTTTTT..when was the last time the Patriots were an 11 point favorite?

Patriots win.

If the Pats are for real, they will manhandle the Steelers and every other opponent they face this season. But if, as some experts have argued, they have some weaknesses that have been exposed, they will get beat by the first team that matches up well against them. The Steelers, Colts, Jags, Browns, and the Cowboys are all teams that could give them trouble.

3rd time is a charm, and with 2 almost losses, the 3rd strike is going to give them their first loss.

I like how all the mediots and everyone who listens to them actually believes the Pats are playing down to teams.
Are the Pats a great team this year? For sure.
Are they the greates ever? No freaking way.

The past two weeks, defense have keyed on the Pats and have played them man to man, bump and run. Its about time defenses start jamming up the Pats WR's. That is the only way you are going to get to them. I WISH WE WOULD HAVE PLAYED THAT WAY AGAINST THEM. Not saying we would have won, but we COULD have won with a tougher defense. We pretty much let their recievers run amuck on us. Did not jam them once.
They dont have a stellar run game to support going to the run in tough times.
The Steelers will win this game in a convincing fashion. All they have to do is play tough football. Dont get fancy. Jam Moss when you can. Spy Brady. Put your best DB on an island with Welker or Stalworth and bring the heat on Brady.
That may not work all the time, but it will about 1/2 the time. Right now, the Pats D is in serious decline, allowing B team QB's to light them up.

Ive been saying it all year. For whatever reason, the media was all about the Bengals and Ravens heading into the season but I knew they were dead wrong, especially after the first few games.

Anyway, if the #1 defense can't pull this off, we might as well fold the damn league or suspend Brady at least.

I am going with the Steelers in this one. I think they will run, run, run, to a very close victory.

Steelers have a shot. But I have this feeling that the Patriots are going to crush them ...

The Patriots were exposed by the Eagles.

The Referees took the game away from the Ravens and gave it to the Patriots.

Ben Roethlisberger will out play Tom Brady and Mike Tomlin and Dick LeBeau will expose Tom Brady.

The New England defense that consist of players that go as far as the Stone Age and the Bronze age will be outplayed by Willie Parker and Davenport.

I firmly believe that the Patriots will lose. I don't see the Patriots going very far. They are beaten down and teams now know how to beat them.

Everyone should be thanking Andy Reid and Jim Johnson for out doing Bill Belichick and exposing him.

I got my doubts because of the trash talking this week....not from the Steelers, but from members of the 1972 Dolphins...they have probably annoyed the Pats enough that they will run the table.

and don't forget the Redskins exposed the Patriots when we scored that one touchdown :)

Depends on which Steelers team shows up. If it is the one that lost to the Jets, they are screwed

I think Pitt will win this game...just a gut feeling.

Terence Newman 41

I hope Pitt can pull this off.

Because if they don't then I do see the Pats going 16-0.

Jets, Dolphins, Giants ....

By the time the Giants play New England, Dallas will have most likely locked up the East and they will have locked up the #5.

Same applies to us tonite......if it's the Redskins that beat the Jets by 3 in overtime, or the Redskins that beat the Lions 34-3

In Pittsburgh on that horrible turf, yeah. But it's in NE and the Steelers will succumb.
