I know he is listed as probable on the injury report, which would lead me to believe that he will play tonight.
Anyone know for sure if the big guy is going to get some time?

This from Jason LaCanfora's blog from yesterday (no update today there)
Guard Randy Thomas (triceps), a key offensive cog, stopped of short of saying he will return Thursday, but sounded swfully optimistic.
"Mentally, I'm there," Thomas said. "Physically, I'm there, And we've got to win this game. I can't wait."

I think he will get some time but he probably won't draw the start, I'd expect them to ease him back into it so he will be ready for our back to back road games.

I think that is a pretty good estimation. He might start, but I couldn't see him playing the entire game... He will probably split time with Fabini tonight

Everywhere I read, he is expected to start - he knows the importance of this game and it seems like he is making it his mission to come back tonight and to be an impact.

Different team will be out there tonight with him back. This should help our play-calling now that we have 2 sides of the O line instead of 1.

A deaf, one-legged circus midget would be better than Fabini. Please get in there Randy.

Good to get Randy back definitely. Interestingly enough, although the line has been much maligned of late, the Sports Junkies noted this morning that according to the stats - the line has fared pretty well overall when compared to the rest of the league. We're supposedly right in the middle of the pack regarding protection and run blocking.

I'm hoping that Thomas is playing tonight. Fabini has done a great job in his place but we need flawless run blocking and pass protection on the right side of the o line.

I can't see how it's possible for a 10 week injury to come down to a game time decision. They know if he's playing, they're just waiting until the last minute to say something.

It seems like we either play really good or really bad, but no in-between. At least with Randy back we should have some consistency, and we should at least be adequate each week... if not great

I feel a good plan would be to start Fabini for a quarter then put RT in after the bears d-line is little winded as to take advantage to the situation. Fabini is used to game time and Thomas could capitalize on it.

That guy's on the Practice Squad. He's an undrafted free agent out of Barnum & Bailey.
