To the mods, can we have this is a thread separate from the game thread. We may need this tonight. Jerome Boger and his crew are working our game, and I think it might be worthwhile to have a thread that focuses exclusively on the officiating.

You know, it's funny that you started this topic. I kind of thought I might just be a little complacent about the refs in the games that I'm able to watch but maybe it's not just me. Call me crazy but it sure does seem like the refs throw a couple of bad calls our way each game.

I get really, really angry when we're out there busting our humps to try and win a game and the refs make a bad call. I know they're human and prone to mistakes but it just seems like they make the worst mistakes against us. I'm sure it's just honest mistakes but sometimes I can't help but wonder.

Maybe we should all pray that the refs have a good game too and not just the Redskins. :silly:

DeFelice is one of the best umpires in the business, so there shouldn't be any questionable holding calls and such.

Keep an eye out, though, for an above-average number of illegal shift/illegal procedure calls tonight.

We've had a few questionable calls this season but there've been far fewer this year than the last couple of years IMO. I hope it stays that way.

"A FEW"? - I can name almost everyone over this season - of course they weren't questionable and overlooked by the REFS................;)

We aren't the ravens, so I think we should be ok.

Lets just hope Joe has read the revised 07 rulebook since Sunday!

Stupid question--what channel is the game on tonight for Comcast subscribers? Are they unlocking NFL Network tonight just for locals or is it on another channel or do we not get to watch (please god no)? Thanks in advance.
