I work for a contractor and they ponied up last year.

They threw a huge party at a expensive hotel this year and if they used the extra dough I could've had in my pocket on that thing, I'm going to be ticked.

I don't even shop at Giant. You can't even buy a decent 12 pack with $10. I'll have to go cheapo and get Beast or something. Absolutely insulting.

I've worked for the same company for the last 17 years.

The first 7 years we would get the equivalent of 2 months salary as a bonus.

Then they did away with that and gave us a turkey for the next 8 years.

Then last year all we got was a Christmas card.

So far this year...nothing...and we leave in 3 hours so it's not looking good.
