did anyone else see cleo lemon's touchdown run on 4th down again the pats? he stayed in bounds, crossed the goal line out of bounds in the air and didn't land until he was out of bounds in the endzone. it's my understanding that the goal line goal on forever, so if you cross it, even out of bounds but still in the air, it's a touchdown.. is that correct? did the ref make the wrong call? i had a disagreement over this with everyone else in the room..and i still feel like i'm right..can anyon help to clarify? thanks!

I think they did away with that. I believe the players foot or the ball itself has to be inside the pylon.

his feet were outside the pilon and he never reached the ball across the line before he went out of bounds. Correct call and dumb play for him not diving to the endzone.

Yeah, I think this is either the first or second year with the new rule. I think it was put in because of Michael Vick, but I'm not sure.

It was the correct call, but Lemon made a half-arse attempt to try to get the ball over the pylon.:2cents:

They made the right call. Lemon should lose his job for the effort he gave on that one play

thanks for the feedback guys.. so, the new rule states that the ball must cross the pylon inbounds, huh? i wonder when this took effect.. does anyone have a copy of the rule? thanks!

Lemon moved the ball with his right hand to the left side of his body as he went out of bounds which made it appear in one angle to have crossed inside the pylon but to be honest... Who cares? lol
