So us Redskins fans are speculating whether the Cowboys will play their starters, and how long.

How about the Giants? They can't better or worsen their position, so will they just roll over and let the Patriots have their perfect regular season?

Coughlin would be stupid not to start his preparation for the Bucs this week.

I would normally agree 100% here that you gotta rest your players for the playoffs...

BUT if Patriots end up winning the Super Bowl and the Giants do not advance to the SB to face them... Wouldn't Coughlin be robbing his players a chance to face and compete against probably labeled greatest team in the NFL history by resting his players? At the end of each coach's and player's career would they have second doubt about not having a chance to beat the greatest team in the history of NFL?

just a thought....

Coughlin would be foolish not to rest the starters for most of the game. Hmmm....Wonder what he'll do.;)

If I was Wade Phillips and thank god I am not, I wouldn't rest my starters from the start, maybe take them out in the second quarter, because I already have a bye week.

If I was Tom Coughlin, I'd play a half with my starters (Except for injured players, who gets week off), if I am getting blown out, I'll take them out and send in the scrubs.

2 years ago when the Colts were carrying an undefeated record late in the season, the minute the clinched HF, Dungy started resting their INJURED guys-yeah, they were healthy ENOUGH to play, but nonetheless, he wanted to get them 100% by the playoffs.

They ended up going 1 and done in the playoffs anyways(playing Manning sparingly in the last 2 games was a big mistake), but TD, IMHO has alot of class.
