View Full Version : The NFC Beast!

All the NFC East teams should be proud of their teams for winning this week.

The Cowboys locked up homefield advantage, the Giants clinched a wildcard spot, and the Eagles' win set up the Redskins to control their own destiny.

At least two NFC East teams will be in the playoffs, and the last playoff spot will be determined by a game between the Redskins and Cowboys.

There is no question that the best teams in the NFC are in the East ... as it should be.

The problem is that we beat the crap out of eachother all year so that even the teams that come out on top and make the playoffs are often too injured to go very far.

Bingo. This is so true and none of the talking heads ever mention it. Our season has been plagued by huge injuries and I never hear a word about it, but if Tom Brady gets a papercut when he cashes his check, LOOKOUT! Media Blitz.

A huge thank you to the Eagles from me. I never thought I would say that, but I am glad they helped us out. I would hate to have to count on the Bears to be the Saints for us.

Dallas is already in the Elite level.

Imagine if the Giants had a legit QB?

Imagine if the Redskins learn the meaning of the word consistency?

Imagine if Andy Reid finally realized that Westbrook is his best player?

WOW! So much potential.

This really sucks ...

-------------------

In 2008, NFC East is going to internally combust ...

Cowboys will be strong (what is to get in the way?) ...

Eagles McNabb will have finally healed (Eagles looked dangerous at this end of this year) ...

Giants will probably improve ...

Wash will improve (many of the injuries will have healed) ...

When strong teams meet, injuries are inevitable.

Actually, the AFC South would be considered beasts also.

2 teams in the playoffs. Another team fighting to get into the playoffs. 4th team could finish .500.

Based on interconference play, I would take the AFC South. Each of their teams has won at least 3 such games. The Titans are 9 and 3 with Haynesworth playing and would be even better with their suspended RB. The Texans are doing pretty well with their new QB Schaub. The Jags and Colts are downright brutal on most Sundays.

The NFC East is a close second, but only has one truly consistent team. The Giants and Eagles have looked REALLY bad on multiple Sundays this year on my TV.

Meh,

If we all just play smart against eachother, I think we can stay out of injury trouble. Hopefully it will make us all better and more dominant so that we can take on AFC teams and not have to second guess if we can beat them.
