Before I got married, I always pretended I was Jewish on Christmas day and went for Chinese food and a movie. Definitely much more enjoyable than the whole family thing.

The wife owns a Chinese restuarant and she worked till 2 am last night. They were jammed. She just left for work today. I don't expect to see her until after midnight. They are the only eating establishment open in this area today; they'll make a killing, but it kind of brings down the whole Christmas and family thing.
