Getting respect from a Cowboys representative is naice...I couldn't agree with him more. They are giving us permission to beat them in 2 weeks, basically.
You know, they let us in, we push them aside, that's how it goes.

Terry said the skins are going to just pound on them so they remember the next time we play them :silly:

You wouldn't have a chance even if all your starters played. You're in our house and this is a Joe Gibbs team in december with playoffs on the line. Don't delude yourself. We're bringing it today and you don't stand a chance.

That's right. You haven't beat us in our house since 04 and Joe Gibbs owns december. Especially when we have the post season in our grasp. You barely won the game earlier this year in your house. We're playing much better ball right now. You honestly don't have any chance of beating us today.

This is where I lose all respect for you man. No shot with all our starters? No shot in a Boys skins rivalry game? This isn't Drew Bledsoe led 2005 Cowboys with Torrin Tucker at LT.

The only reason you guys beat us earlier was TO and Jason's mistakes. The next time we play you after today neither one will be there :D

I don't care about your respect. Who the hell are you that you think I want or need your respect?
The proof is in the pudding and you know as well as I do that Gibbs fields winners in december. The homefield advantage is huge and quite frankly, beatin your team is just a formality at this point.

This coming from the same man who declared that Romo would be a horrible "sandlot" QB, Wade Phillips could not out achieve BP, and that Dallas wouldn't even make the playoffs. You hold all of the advantages today but this is a different Dallas team.

Phillips hasn't out achieved Parcells. And the sandlot remark comes straight from Jerry Jones. I never said he would be a horrible QB. Now you're just making stuff up. Hey, did your pre season prediction for the Skins include us making the playoffs? Just curious.

No team has gone 16-0 also. You hold the advantages and we have ZERO to play for. I just feel like it's silly to say we have no chance but we'll see?

In Dallas is what I mean. Parcells has never won a playoff game, thus Phillips has already surpassed him winning the division and the NFC as the #1 seed. He also has a winning record in December which is 3-1 if you count an odd Thursday Night game against the Pack right at the end of November. These are things Parcells never accomplished in Dallas albeit he helped build the team.

Sounds like you're pretty wound up man. All I'm saying is that I think we have a shot especially if the game remains close. You predicted Dallas would not make the playoffs. I think I predicted the skins would finish 8-8 and not make the playoffs. :)

Your right, Its the 2007 romo led cowboys who got lucky in detroit, barely beat the mighty panthers, and mustered 2 field goals against the eagles at home. Yeah, the cowboys in december are scary, especially for the skins in december

I think this team is still Parcells' team. Next year, that might be different, but this is still Parcells' team just as much as it was Johnson's team when Switzer won the Superbowl.

Im not wound up at all. I'm pretty calm and I'm really confident that we have this game in the bag. The mere suggestion that we'll lose to Dallas doesn't compute with me. My automatic scoff reposnse kicks in. I scoff at you and your posts THA. :)

The problem with that logic is if they do try to win and lose still, they will really be in a jam psychologically if we meet again.
I think the smart thing is to rest your players and if you lose you have a built in excuse. Then you just hope the Skins lose in Seattle. If not, your rested and healthy, at home, and without the psychological disadvantage of knowing that you tried to win already and lost.

I think the Cowboys are in a catch 22, if they play their starters for a considerable amount of time and lose there is the chance that they could see us again in the playoffs. If that happened how confident would they be about playing us in the playoffs knowing that their starters played a signifcant of time and lossed. If the Cowboys don't play their starters and we win convincely they still could see us again later in the playoffs knowing we beat them. And if the boys play their starters and get serious injuries in the game they will look stupid for playing their starters in a meaningless game for them, then they could still see us again not at full strength. Either way it doesn't look good for the boys, the best scenario for them would either be a win for them or a close loss and I don't see that happening the way the Redskins have been playing lately. No motivation. You can't play a team that's jacked like a playoff game against a team that views it as a preseason game.

Noble thought, but what we fans think on a message board is irrelavent to the game.
We fans here can sleep on a game, expect a loss, guarantee a win....... it won't matter.
All that matters is that the players and coaches are ready for a big game.
And they will be. :)

As a Cowboy fan, I'm pretty relaxed about this game. We already deactivated Newman, Gurode, Watkins, Ratliff, and TO. Glenn probably won't play if the field is crap. That means Romo probably won't play very much.
Bottomline, Dallas is guaranteed to finish the season with four more wins than the Skins. That is huge!
When the game meant something to both teams, Dallas won.
You guys can continue thinking this game is important and will mean something in 2 weeks, but it doesn't.
We will see how close 50% Dallas is to 100% Washington. That's all.
I do think the Skins win, but I would be surprised if the Skins offense scores a lot of points on the Boys D.

Ill say this Cowturd. Your boys earned the home field position. Lucky enough to survive the brain farts your boys produced the last few games.
But I assure you. Our Skins in the last three weeks have shown that they are the most dangerous team to face in the NFC. Believe me , your precious Cowturds dont wanna see us as their first opponents in the post season. :dallasuck

So exactly how suprised are you? We moved the ball at will pretty much. All those offensive starters of yours and near 0 production. No 1000 yards for MB3 even tho he only needed 19 and no 100 catches for witten even tho he only needed a few more. I hope you're a little worried because if you're not, you might want to start sometime soon.
