Can you feel it?

How many December runs does this make for Gibbs? I've see the stats before, and its pretty amazing.

This is why for the rest of his run here, we should remember that its never over until New Years.

This is how good Joe Gibbs is in December...

Since his return in 2004, the Redskins in December are:

13-7

Of the seven losses:

5 were by 3 points or less, or in OT

And the icing on the cake: Gibbs did this with four different QBs playing in December over those four years:

Ramsey (2004)
Brunell (2005)
Campbell (2006)
Collins (2007)

If you're bored, compare Parcell's December record during HIS 4 years as the coach of the Cowboys, because he had four different QBs during his Decembers as well (Carter, Testeverde, Bledsoe and Romo). Here's a hint: he was 8-12 and couldn't win a playoff game to save his life.

I'll admit that I've doubted Gibbs, but I think he's proven that he can still be a great leader and coach.

I never doubted Gibbs, I just hated that he was conservative. I guess he is not now....
