Give me 3 grand and a pair of tickets on the extreme top row and i'm your huckleberry.

i will even consider it for tickets closer to the field.

I've done it before

It's a five day trip. Maybe four with two people driving non-stop

Then you have to consider the weather in the Plains nd the ROckies

Fly if you can. It's probably cheaper anyway

That was what I was going to say. That is one long drive. If money and time were no object I would consider it, but since I am going back to work on Wednesday after the birth of new born son, I doubt that is going to happen.

That can't be right. It took me nearly one full day just to go from SLC, go through Cortez, CO and Four Corners and end the night in Flagstaff. And driving ACROSS Texas is just brutal.

Hell, it's 3 hours flat alone from just Pax River/Solomons to Frostburg.

Just make the playoffs into a whole road trip. 1st drive to Seattle, next turn around and drive to Green Bay for the next round. Then maybe down to Dallas or where ever the NFC championship game might be. Then finish off in Arizona.

How fast were you going? It took me about 6 hours to drive from Richmond, VA to Hightstown, NJ (traffic).

How? I drove from D.C. area to Arkansas just across the border from Memphis, in 16 hours. No way another 8 hours gets me to AZ.

I drove from Albany, NY and back to the Dallas game at FedEx Saturday, and that sucked (7 hours or so). I cannot imagine 40. Shudder.

I-81 sucks. And it snowed on the way home. Bad. It was worth it...but I am flying next time...if y'all will have me back. :eaglesuck

By the way, I stopped by the Extreme Skins Tailgate for a bit...way cool...thanks folks for the hospitality.

I lived in the NW for the better part of 10 years.

I've done this drive 5 or 6 times, usually by myself.

The best I've ever done was 32 hours from Seattle to Chicago. I slept for probably 6 hours and made it back to DC. in another 10 hours. All in all, about 2 days in the car.
I think I was 22, and I loved driving long distances. I can't stand 2 hours in a car now.

This trip would be cool in a fast RV with a few other die-hards though..

I drove FROM Seattle to Iowa City twice this summer. I even contemplated doing it again but I don't think you know how draining it is. And that was when it was warm. I couldn't even sleep in my car this time to take little breaks, it would be DAMN COLD. WOuld be afraid to get stuck in the snow or have my car break down in that weather! :)

Actually you'd drive TO SEATTLE, than TO DALLAS, than TO GREEN BAY, or wherever the NFCG would be, than BACK to Arizona.

That would be insane.
