...it's obvious he didn't re-up with the pukes because of:
1) Jerruh;
and/or
2) Puke personnel.
It was never about his wanting to leave the game...
What I do find fascinating, though, is his interest in doing player personnel exclusively. Can you imagine, should the coach he hire begin to falter, how Bill would react?
Control of personnel is one thing...control of the team and game plan is another.
I doubt Bill can give up coaching so easily.

Bill's has recently mentioned that coaching is a young mans game.
Actually, how great would it be to see him bring in Jason Garrett?

I know Cowboy fans would never admit it, but I really think that signing TO created a lot bigger rift b/w jerrah and bill than we will ever know

It won't last. He'll get pissed at the next coach and fire him and "temporarily take over"
Temporarily meaning 4 years.

I don't know guys. BP was looking for a FO gig last year as well. He just might be tired of the long hours coaches have to put in. He still wants to be involved with a team and get some ching, but not take the stress of a HC job.
He still gets to bring his people in and make all the personnel decisions and still has lots of power.
I agree TR that in pukeland he didn't have the power he wanted and didn't get along with JJ.

It just looks to me like Tuna chose a terrific job for someone his age (heck, any age!). He gets contraol of an NFL team, in sunny Miami, for mmmmmmillions of dollars!
Sounds okay to me.
