You have to love what we are building here. We went on a 4 game run in a playoff atmosphere in which we relied on several young, unheralded players. Heyer, Doughty, Landry, Montgomery, Golston, Alexander, Blades, Torrence, and even Mix have played big roles. Going forward, we have something to hang our hats on to know we have a bunch of young guys with playoff experience. We also have a "young veteran base" Campbell 25, Cooley 25, Portis 26, Moss 27. Sure we could use some young studs on the lines and in the secondary but we have a great base to work with. I must say we have alot more stability then I thought when you really break it down. A strong draft this year, with our recent success, can really make this team an NFC power in my opinion. Also, I must close out by saying Landry has come no where near a rookie wall. The sky is the limit for LL, its a shame it cant be next to Sean.

I'm really impressed with Mix's play on ST. I've noticed he's been in on numerous tackles and has had a few solos. If this is any indication of how he would play the WR position I say he is a keeper...assuming he can catch that is.

It really has been impressive all the gems the FO has found in the late rounds in drafts and some undrafted FAs.

LL has really shined in the FS spot. His speed and hitting have become HUGE in the defensive scheme.

Great post - I am excited about the young depth that we can groom over the next couple seasons. This 4 game stretch and playoff game(s) will only make us stronger and more prepared for next year.

This is an experience that we can't afford to NOT build on.

I'm looking to tomorrow right now... but I also can't help but be excited about the future of #30. Only word = stud.
