View Full Version : Who Is Your Darkhorse Today?

For some reason I get the feeling that Reche Caldwell is going to have a big game. I think that the Hags are going to concentrate heavily on our playmakers Portis, Moss and Cooley and leave opportunities for Reche and ARE.

I also see quite a few delayed draws today due to Seattle's aggressive pass rush.

Shuisham. He wants to earn a big paycheck and be known as a premier kicker. This is the big stage and his chance to prove it. I think that he will come through today a few times when we need it!!

Rock. He is wanting to prove he should be resigned and hasn't had a TD all season.

Landry needs to have the game of his life!!

Ladell Betts.

Seattle's front 7 are undersized but fast, so though they'll likely be able to slow Portis, I think this makes for an excellent matchup advantage with Betts.

Mix. He's going to make something special happen today out of nowhere. I just have this feeling...

I think the dark-horse could be:

1)Lorenzo Alexander
2)Randall Godfrey
3)Mike Sellers

As long as we win...It really doesn't matter!

HAIL!

Todd Yoder. I predict he will catch a TD pass today.

Rage, I hope you are right when you say "few times" I would be content to see Suisham get 5 points the easy way, one at a time. I n my heart I think the Man for this game is CP. Not really a Darkhorse, but, a horse nonetheless. Ride Clinton all the way to Arizona. HTTR

I have a feeling it will be Chris Wilson on defense. 1 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble.

with a matchup like that, id expect betts and sellers to get called on a few more times than usual.

How about Moss returning some punts? The guy is a playmaker...

I'm thinking Mike Sellers...

Goal Line TD for #45!!!

I agree with Caldwell having a good game, but ARE is due for a td on special teams.

As well as Mix getting a chance, time to use that tall frame in the red zone.

I'm gonna go w/ Chris Wilson. He's come on strong the past few weeks. We're gonna need our pass rush to be there today especially on 3rd downs. If we play coverage our front four needs to generate some pressure, and I think Wilson does just that. He'll get a sack and won't let Hassleback feel comfortable in the pocket.

No. He is way to valuable to our offense. He gets hurt (knock on wood) and we are screwed. He is now healthy (knock on wood) and is forcing teams to double team which has opened up the running game and given Collins the opportunity to spread the ball.

Wilson, ARE, I'll take any of those guys!

this is right on ... I like how steady Caldwell has been, especially last week. McCardell may make a couple catches over the middle for big 1st downs. I just hope we can get out on an early lead so I don't have to gnaw my fingers off. HTTR!

I pick Yoder on offense to do Yeoman work and Griff on D to be in their ****ing way all day

cool thread. x's and o's without being too x's and o's if that makes sense.

I like Betts catching passes. The #1 key player in this game is Stephon Heyer. If he holds his own, we're going to Dallas. Our receivers will get open, and Portis will run strong. The only question is whether they'll have enough time and holes.

On D, LaRon will get his hands on the ball like ST did against the Pack.

Run some 3 back sets with CP, Betts and Sellers. Imagine Betts running with Portis and Sellers blocking...:yikes:

Reed Doughty. I can see him 1 pick and about 6 or 7 tackles.

Good thread KG.

I like Yoder to have a big play. Maybe 2. I also like Randle El in the return game :) (and as a WR, he hasn't done much lately)
