Smart Man, Smart man!

Enough can not be said about how much easier a 1st round bye team has it in the divisional round of playoffs. Especially when the Giants will have traveled to TB, home and then back to Dallas. Tough to overcome.

Unless TO is not healthy. If he doesn't play, these teams are even IMO.

I agree with the last part. If Owens is even 75% and can even be on the field he opens it up for Glenn, Witten and Crayton. Should benefit the run game as well.

Im excited. Newman and Henry out there together. Same with Owens and Glenn!

I wish that I was as confident in the cowboys winning as Westbrook....

Has a team ever beaten another 3 times in a single season?

Giants over the Skins in 1986 27-20 and 24-14 with a 17-0 win in the NFC Championship.

Ugh, everytime I hear about that game, I think of the footage of the Giants D tearing Jay Schroeder a new one all game.

there have been 17 times when a team had a chance to sweep a rival over a 3 game set

The team that won the first 2 won the 3rd game 11 out of those 17 times

Giants beat the Eagles 3 straight in 2000 en route to the SB.

First, which puke team shows up? The one that won 13 games or the one that ended the season?

Second, is TO healthy enought to make an impact?

Third, how much do the Giants bring to the table? They have had a roller coaster year and the pukes had a bye week to regroup. The Giants have to travel for the second week in a row.

Giants are playing well right now and with confidence. Time to see if Romo has what it takes to win in the playoffs. Eil finally decided to show up in a playoff game against Tampa and should continue that trend this weekend.

This is going to be a battle.

i would assume that whatever team won the 1st 2 games was simply the better team so 11 out of 17 doesn't surprise me at all.. i would expect this trend to continue considering the cowboys are clearly better than the giants..

I wish I shared Brian's confidence also. Looks like GB/Dallass final.

BW is a Flip-flopper. He was on NFL.com with Strahan and said that the Giants have a REALLY good chance of beating Dallas. :)

Wow what a story. Lets all debate about what an Eagle player thinks.

The most painful one for a team has to be the Jags, who lost twice to the Titans in the '99-00 season and finished 14-2. Then the Titans beat the Jags for the third time in the AFC title game, ending the Jags season at 15-3. Ouch.

resulted in a pretty exciting SB though.

Is it even certain whether Terry Glenn is 100% or not?

I still would favor the Cowboys at home, but I think the Giants have a reasonable chance.

TG won't be close to 100% now or anytime this year. He will most likely need additional surgery this off-season and will likely never be 100% again.
