Seahawk Fans at work have been giving me grief the is week; not because they beat the Redskins last week but because I will not be going for there beloved Hawks this Saturday.

I try to tell them that it is because of how there fans behaved at the game and mainly they remarks the made about Sean Taylor and what they said to Redskins Fans wearing Taylor Jerseys. There response is that I should not let a few fans make me root against the Seahawks or you get that in any stadium.

This usually gets them when I ask them if one of there players was shot and killed in there own home, doing nothing wrong and then they went on a road trip to see a Seahawks Game and the fans in the opposing stadium disrespected there deceased player they would feel the same way I do.

I did not get much of a response from that.

Sorry guys just had to vent.

FWIW-they were on our boards talking trash a month ago.

The Hawks are by far NOT a world-beating team. They should feel fortunate that they're in a division which features 3 of the top 5 worst teams-Whiners, Lambs, and Cards. Otherwise, this ain't Holmgren's Packers-Hasselback is hot and cold(it's no surprise he was merely a 6th rounder once upon a time ago), Alexander is soft, their front 7 is VERY undersized(Speed, so what? You can bully them around and have an effective ground game), even when they DID have Steve Hutchinson, their OL has always been overrated too(their LT, Walter Jones, would get pushed around by the better pass rushers in the league), and their receivers have the bad case of butterfingers too.

Who cares. I'm in the same situation as you. I live in Seattle. I just point out three superbowls. That shuts them up everytime.

Remind them that their mascot is a chicken, their uni's are ugly, They've never won a Superbowl, and their best QB ever was Jim Zorn.

Warren Moon outgunned Zron and David Kreig once was right up there during his peak.

All I know is that due to their fans' behavior online, offline and their "12th man" crap in general, they have become one of the teams I now love to hate. That makes 5!
