New York Giants CB Kevin Dockery played in last week's playoff game in Tampa despite a hip flexor, but he obviously suffered a physical setback and is now on crutches. There's no chance he'll be able to recover in time for Sunday's game at Dallas. CB Sam Madison suffered a strained abdominal muscle in the regular-season finale and was unable to play against the Buccaneers. His availability for this weekend is seriously in doubt. He was in full pads and was able to do some individual work but again could not practice. The Giants likely will start rookie Aaron Ross and Corey Webster as the corners and use veteran R.W. McQuarters as the nickel back.

Eh......I'm not, nor will I read too much into this(and I hope my fellow Cowboys fans do the same).

If anything, their run game gave us alot of fits in both of our games(Ward had 89 in the 1st, and Jacobs had 94 in the 2nd). Was watching the 2nd game again on NFL Replay last night-those guys, Snee, O'Hara, Deihl, and even FB Madison Hedgecock are maulers. And what's worse is that we've yet to see Bradshaw.

Pt being that if their ground game is working effectively this week, the pressure will be taken off of Eli, they'll be able to run long-consuming drives(and play field position too), keep their D fresh, and ultimately, keep our high-powered O off the field.

I expect this to be a close one like the 2 this season.:2cents:

Yes the key to the Cowboy defense will be to stop the run and force Eli to beat you.

Webster is going to be a marked man in the Giant defensive backfield.

If we cannot run and they generate pass rush I could cover Owens and it wouldn't matter.

But from a Cowboy fan stand point, if we do not attack, attack and attack it will be a serious joke.
