Capitol Hill is the most central location in the DC area, it's Metro friendly and has several bars w/in walking distance. We could take over the Hawk-n-Dove which claims to be a Steelers bar but has Redskins memorobilia on the walls. The Pour House and Marty's are also cool. Parking is thin, but that's what Metro is for.

I can also get Suite for 20 people at any Wizards game. The tickets are usually $50 a seat depending on the game. I just sold my Suite for the Knicks game this Friday night for $1000 to diff Redskin fans.

mikachu and i had discussed this idea at one of the sendoffs...we could do a rotation of md, nova, richmond, etc...so we can get more of us out together...and i have no problem driving out to meet fellow ESers...

if someone starts suggesting places then i (or whoever) can put together a schedule so we can start planning.

we just have to show up in serious skins gear and rep :) we need to take over these places and create skins bars :)

Although I'm a bit geo-challenged, I definitely like tailgating more than bars. So I would love to attend a big, sprawling tailgate in the Arena Drive lot on a nice Saturday afternoon-to-evening. Plenty of room, at the stadium, that wonderful tailgate smell, easy parking... I guess the only concern would be toilets.

In a perfect world, the org would be on board and they would open a gate for us to use the bathrooms and sit in the seats. That would be terrific.

This year the offseason bash looks like it will be held at ESPN Zone... we are currently in talks with ESPN Zone in DC..

I like the idea of the tailgate and the Nationals game, although baseball is still a few months away.

The Nationals will have FREE parking in lots of RFK if we want to do a pregame tailgate and then hop on the shuttle buses to our own section in the new stadium.

I had a few tailgates in the RFK parking lots b/f Nats games over the past couple of years, and it was way chill. Acres of room to spawl upon and toss the football.

Hm. Good question. I just moved to Richmond a few months ago, so my knowledge of good bars around here is limited. There's always Big Al's Sports Bar & Grill. He hosts one of the morning shows here at ESPN Radio (where I work). It would be pretty easy to organize a Redskins party with him, considering he's a big fan.

I can get 2 rooms at the Trop for the Poker Rate. The rate fluctuates between $50-99 on the weekends per room. It's currently the Slow Season in AC so the rooms would most likely be $50 a night on the weekends.
